  1. Yup. 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth. Fun little car!
  2. I like the dings in my watches. They are like little battle scars. Little stories to go along with the watch. That being said, most of my watches are vintage anyways, so it's less of a big deal. I think that's why I like the vintage ones best. I get a little OCD on new watches and tend to sell them because I don't wear them (for fear of dinging them!) Bottom line, if you love the watch that much I would buy another one and keep that one for as a spare. You never know what might happen to the new one and perhaps you will need a spare part or spare movement.
  3. That patina on that pearl is just...... Damn Sexy!!! Nice find!! Definitely makes a HUGE difference to the overall look of the watch IMO.
  4. Yup.... some good folks around these parts! W is definitely one of the great ones! Enjoy your new timepiece! Looks great
  5. Happy October RWG!! Same watch...... New Car
  6. Either option would work. Definitely a fan either way!! I would personally go for the space view dial. Just don't fall asleep with it on your wrist! That 300 Hz tone would drive me crazy.
  7. Looks great! Any before shots so we can see the difference?
  8. Thanks!! Just contact Jakob through PM here. Not sure if he is making these currently or not
  9. R, check out this thread here. Good info on an easy way to do the circular brushing. Go about half way down before the discussion begins on bezel brushing.
  10. Must be something damn interesting for you to give up on building your 7032? Details, man...... we need details
  11. Finally switched to something different
  12. Same old, same old. Life's been good!! And you?
  13. Oh by the way, her 64 GB White iPhone 4S for AT&T will be going on sale very soon
  14. If you have the 3GS just go to the 5 for sure. My wife just got hers yesterday and it is outstanding. They say its not much thinner than the 4S but it sure feels a lot skinnier than my phone (4S). Also the extra height actually makes it feel better in my hands. I feel like I have a better grip on it. Also the finish is amazing. So glad they went back to the aluminum case back. One last thought. A firm in Canada did a drop test against the Samsung Galaxy and it won hands down. They said this is the most durable iPhone Apple has released to date.
  15. Very sorry to hear that Kev. Wishing you and your family all the best in this difficult time. Always remember you have a home here and there will always be folks around to lend an ear or whatever else you may need. We are a strong, tight community. Your difficulties become our difficulties too.
  16. Patience is always key in this hobby! Glad it arrived safe and sound
  17. Well since I haven't taken it off my wrist since I got it back from Ziggy I'm sure you will get to see it
  18. That looks much, much better!!! Great choice! I love the little details in the stitching near the buckle. Very nice touch!
  19. This hasn't left my wrist in weeks.... The 168000 "Triple Zero"
  20. Honestly I think you would be better off with a used iPad 1 then any of the cheap tablets out there. Just my 0.02
  21. Welcome to the forum! I think there was or is a member here that is in his teens, but you are definitely one of the younger ones!! Definitely can't go wrong with the newest noob 111. A very popular and very "close-to-gen" example! Another favorite of mine is the PAM 390.
