  11. That's pretty cool! I wonder if one of JoeyB's acrylic bezels would work on that?

  14. Here's a screenshot of the Amplitude. Really? Something that simple could cause such erratic behavior?
  15. Well after some trial & error I managed to get it back together and up and running.... kind of. It is pretty erratic. The movement came to me with issues of stopping after a short time. This seems to have gone away, but the timing is all over the place. Obviously it needs a thorough service (which I am not quite ready to do yet), but I am curious if anyone can tell me what would make the movement behave this way? Here is a screen shot of the timing software:
  16. Thanks Andy. I guess I already knew that. It's quite frustrating though at times! I'll keep on trying then.
  17. Hello fellow watch movement experts. Need some advice here. Working on a 2824 and I have a question. When you take the train wheel bridge assembly apart, is there a good trick for putting it back on and having all the jewels line up with the gear train pivots? I can get it to go back on after many, many trial & error attempts, but there has to be a good trick for this. Or perhaps its just a lot of practice?
  18. Love that Hamilton W!
  19. Looks awesome. What's the story with that one? (Sorry I don't recognize it)
  20. Wearing my custom JMB No-Date
  21. +1.... way more fun, and you can spread out the cost. You didn't pay $6k all at once. Makes it a lot easier to do. Well done! That is one impressive looking piece!
  22. Have a great time M! I went to one restaurant many years ago that was amazing but for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it. I have a postcard from there at home which I will see if I can find later on tonight. So will you be wearing your birthday present (i.e.: the 1655) while shopping all the AD's?
  23. That is one beautiful looking phono cartridge! Great pic!
