  1. WatchWoot still has a warning up on his Omega sales page about it. Beyond that, I don't know.
  2. Good for you! It's a grand gesture to offer things to people in need. I agree with P4, tho, that the photos are as sharp as cotton balls. That is probably scaring folks off.
  3. It's probably metal dust and polishing compound trapped in the links! Your sweat leeches it out.
  4. Thank you so much for taking the time out of your schedule to work on this for us! I appreciate your efforts
  5. It all comes down to which watch movement is in there. You can buy both Swiss and Asian movements that are 28,800 beats .. just like a genuine Rolex. Not all "expensive" watches have smooth seconds hands, btw!! Some Omega for example are 21.600 I believe. ... so anyone who tells you that you spot a "fake" by the sweep is just repeating bad info to you, and doesn't really know the game.
  6. Any "Collector" (dealer) listed on this message board can sell you a decent 01-94 ... just pick the watch you like and order it without fear.
  7. Did you get grease in the two anti-reversing gears? :/ They are the little gears directly below the rotor.
  8. techlogik - thank you for finally giving an example of what you mean by "10 spacing" ... your little diagram is perfect and I understand now.
  9. Thanks for posting this, and I hope to see your review very soon!
  10. Hi Nikos . do not panic. ETz is a very good rep dealer. Your watch will ship.
  11. I hope your watch brings you years of joy .. but I have to ask .. you can't stand the dial print of the V5 but you have no trouble with the huge SEL gaps, too-large dial marker rims, protruding HEV, incorrect case back and as you mentioned the bubble pearl of this one you bought? Again, as long you YOU like your watch, that's all that matters. I am simply asking how you can overlook these glaring faults but have been so vocal about dial print.
  12. </b>Great work! I'm always astonished to see pictorials from you, Zig.
  13. And crystal, I suppose. It's certainly NOT like the one I received. The new one people are posting is much more clear and distortion-free.
  14. You know what ... I initially said "SOME collectors who QC and photo-approve" but deleted the "SOME" before posting. Thanks for keeping me honest and stuff.
  15. What stumps newbs is that Bergie can't post a pic of "everything" he can get .. it's too much. You have to ask him. So newbs think he doesn't have something and they don't ask.
  16. Luddites burned the library of alexandria .. didn't they? They liked to smash technology .. just like you!
  17. Watches from Collectors who do QC and photo approval take a Month to arrive. Drop-shippers are normally much faster.
  18. Wow ok ... I had no idea that the V5.0 original crystal had so much distortion comparatively.
  19. The "Flash" anim photos they use now are so grainy .. I don't know how you can accurately judge dial print. The image itself is horrible.
  20. As KB points out, there are "Accessories" Collectors right here on our own Forum! Sunglasses, coats, shoes, suits .. most everything. Look in the Bergie's Forum area to start.
  21. The normal parts vendors have Omega watch parts. They are not rare and hard to find like other watch parts. Ofrei .. Cousins .. you can simply order the parts; no magic or begging needed.
