The Forum dealers all buy from the same factories. It is very rare to have an exclusive watch at a single dealer. There is no "best" dealer for Panerai. \

How's the white SOSF dial compared to the gen?
Jkay replied to david.the.marvelous's topic in The Breitling Area
Unfortunately the problem with looking at pictures of people's watches (and even the official maker's web site pictures) is that the color is simply not correctly reproduced by the digital camera and your monitor. The white balance in your pics is just as bad as mine in my photo above. No one without experience could judge the true colors. -
How unusual! Watch International (at least in the past) would go out to the watch bazaar stalls for you, and search for your piece .. Has this changed?? The whole experience of personally choosing watches for you was a huge selling point for this Dealer. They (as far as I am aware) are the go-to Dealer for unusual pieces and spare parts.

There's a sub-forum here in the actual dealer review area for "Other Dealer's Reviews" ... that would be the correct place for ... um ... other dealer's reviews http://www.rwgforum.net/forum/131-reviews-of-other-dealers/

And then cement it there with blue loc-tite

this works fine for me. The day the USA starts censoring on a national level is the day the revolution must begin.

BK came back from China to announce that "George" from the WM9 factory had died by crashing his Lamborghini, but the Factory was family-owned and would continue to some degree. TC then discovered the factory and sells the world-famous WM9 Yacht Master now. But no one calls it WM9 anymore ..

Dealer Torobravo has a limited number of clearance Panerai ARCTOS GMTs on special pricing.

Andy, are you saying that the V2 white dial is the wrong color? If so, then I stand corrected .. a watch tech who repairs reps would know better than me. -

That's a first generation Swiss powered SOSF white dial from ~4 years ago. The current generation (v2) is considered to be it's equal .. For reference, here is the SOSF v2 sales page on Torobravo's web store. He has ll the colors on one page, so just click the white-dial thumbnail. You can see that it's a light cream dial. http://www.torobravos.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=656 -
Where are you in the World? I know Vac's Mod Shop applies AR. I had my 500m done there. He's in the USA.

Josh and his partner Andrew (Perfect Clones and Trusty Time) are good dealers. They just sometimes charge more. For a replica "that cheap" you should think about replacing the strap it comes with .. it's most likely going to be the biggest tell on the piece. The funny part is that a beautiful exotic leather strap is going to cost you as much as the rep watch As for the Asia 21j powered watches like this ... it's really hit or miss. The good news is that the Asia 21j is cheap to replace .. $25 retail?? If you like it, put it on a beautiful strap and replace the movement if it breaks.

It depends on which version of the watch you buy. My SOSF white dial is cream and exactly like the gen. The bottom photo is gen. Hm as you can see, my phone camera's white balance is a little too flesh-toned here. -
When you are buying a 50-80 dollar watch, it's best to not deal with the dealers who overcharge habitually. Send an email to Watch International, first, and ask for their price on this piece. To be more clear, the more popular big dealers sometimes will charge you 100 or more dollars extra over the price of a smaller dealer. I'm not guaranteeing anything but it does not hurt to ask.

The full list of trusted rep dealers is on the front page of this web site. Just go out there and scroll halfway down.

Synthetic plush cloths (microfiber) used for automotive detailing will pull all the oil off your watch without harming it in any way at all. You shouldn't have to use cleaners for any bit of it.

Can you explain more? Having an issue means something bad, but you use a smile face afterwards .. I know everyone on this board is not a native English speaker so maybe use different words to describe your thought, and we can be more clear.

Kuvarsit is a rep dealer which has trusted status on other watch forums, but not here. They have some exclusive offerings, so I assume they work closely with a Chinese factory, like Angus at PureTime Watch does. Again, Kuvarsit is not listed here on RWG but I have never heard a "horror story" about dealing with them, and I have in fact bought their replica Panerai leather straps in the past.

Blue screws and colored (painted) gears are great ways to visually tell it's an Asia 21j movement. And yes, as MD says the feel when you wind a 21j is buzzy like a tin toy. Swiss ETA and Chinese clone ETA movements should wind smooth like silk.

Watch Eden is one of the few dealers to carry both the high quality replicas and the common watches you buy in an alley in a tourism city. Be sure of what you are buying ~ if the price is cheap, it's because it's a cheap watch.

If I could just mention here -- it's common for new members to fall for tricks and buzz-words used by the replica dealers. It's not your own fault; you just do not know any better *yet* but you will, as you are here longer and read more information. There is no grading system for replica items. It's just a collection of words Chinese dealers use to convince you to send money. For comparison, you'll notice that trust-worthy dealers very seldom use these fake Chinese marketing words. To more directly answer your question: Bergie aims to only sell the best quality pieces. For instance, he carries no Coach replicas, since he has never seen a good one.

Didn't the factory hold his finished inventory hostage and demand more and more money to release them?
