Its a very fiddly thing to properly bevel the shoulders of the case lugs, then polish/brush them perfectly. A 50+ year old watch which has been re-brushed many times will not be perfect.

There is a trusted watch smith in Germany who already does this. It works.

Flyr - no thanks; I had the Zigmeister brush and polish it to gen spec and the insert is gen, so no bashing thank you. It is a little faded at the edges (the insert) for that appropriately aged look.
