Something selling for 100 USD sells for 100 UKP over there ... 50% more. So maybe your watch maker is charging you a fair English rate. Have you considered hiring a forum-trusted EU watchsmith to service this piece?

Toro's model is a few years old. Puretime's is quite new. They both have incorrect date windows. Toro has no bevel and Puretime's bevel is too big. It's a beautiful watch .. choose whichever you like best.
