  1. Ken is a soft-goods dealer. Clothes, purses, wallets, suits .. shoes ... not watches. If you want the watch dealers, try King Showbox, Pure Time, Perfect Clones or Trusty Time.
  2. Gen dials fit into the two (long island and curvex) FM Crazy I have here. No guarantees in this hobby tho!! We do not know enough about the FM maker(s???) to tell you how many different case sets there are.
  3. One is more than 2x bigger than the other. Think about it .. I have both but it's something you have to consider
  4. In your photo it appears that the edge of the date wheel is clearly visible through the date window AND the date is left justified, and partially obscured by the dial?
  5. This is an old conversation. I have not bought a FM replica in 2 years or more but Silix still shows them for sale. He advertises a large selection of FM watches http://www.silix-prime.co/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=116_255
  6. Vaccum is a long-time, trusted watch technician and lume artist. His tests and work are top quality .. my watch is good for 7atm after his work .. that's 210 feet depth. ONE THING you should know tho .. and please remember this .. the forum's trusted technicians are very very backed up with work. It might take 1 month for him to get to your watch from all the watches he has in his shop!
  7. This watch (and a lot of replicas) is available in a few different movement types ... the better the movement, the more you will pay. Asian Clone, real Swiss ETA, and high grade Selita like the real TAG .. how much you pay depends on what you want inside of the watch. I **think** that the genuine Selita model goes for $380 now ??
  8. During Chinese New Year, the entire country shuts down for a couple of weeks, and the effects can last three weeks.
  9. Hi! There's an Introductions area if you want to say HI .. welcome to the Forum community. Ask anything you want.
  10. If that price was true, why would he claim 1/3 cost to the consumer, in this review?
  11. The "ISC" is the International Sorting Center at Kennedy Airport in NYC .. the longest a package has been lost in that place (for me) is nine straight days. Eventually a janitor sweeps your watch out from under a desk and they get it to you.
  12. No, I am not worried .. fraud protection limits your liability to under $50 and in most cases 0 dollars ... at least in the USA ... when I called my Visa provider and told them to OK the charge from Payza, I explained that there would be a recurring monthly fee of ~10 dollars for a hobbyist forum I attend. They noted my account with this info. If I was worried, I'd have not used it.
  13. Checking to see if it worked finally ..... edit - it works. OH and hey, the tech support drone at Payza tells me that their payment gateway is in Moscow, so that settles that question.
  14. George, since I do not frequent other replica forums, I don't know ... are you still in business as a chronograph technician for the forums? If so, that's good news.
  15. If he has to start fresh with a new shop, since the first shop tried to rob/blackmail him ... start thinking about Christmas 2013.
  16. In the USA, I know we have Vaccum in Florida, The Katt in MN, George in TX, and now MD2020 in IL ... who else? And Im talking about Forum people here, not a "shop you trust"
  17. Zig is so overloaded with work that he only accepts new projects from either existing customers *or* people who are personally referred by existing customers. Most modders on the replica forums are buried under work. Too few of them, and too many of us.
  18. Vaccum is a person. It is his forum name. He is a watch technician and a lume artist living in Florida, USA. He accepts simple mechanisms such as ETA 2824 and also complex chronograph movements. "Vacuum" = no air, like in outer space. It has a different spelling. Simple test machines for water tightness do not use a vacuum; they use a pressure chamber to try to pressurize the interior of the watch. Place the watch in water, and if no bubbles come out, its good!
  19. People who use Katt's repair normally post to his area on RWI, where he's a trusted watch tech.
  20. No, it is not worth the extra 100 dollars.
  21. You're replying to a 13 month old post
  22. Vaccum has an approved modder's storefront here on this forum. it's Vac's Mod Shop.
  23. That is a PureTime 1680 with some aftermarket and some genuine Rolex parts .. built by our own famous modders w0lf and JMB Here's my original thread from almost three years ago --- http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/121417-yes-another-franken-1680-post/
  24. Tomhorn I'm sorry but the addition rate in the US populace has remained steady at 2% for the entire duration of the 1trillion dollar war on drugs. Not up, not down. Unaffected.
