  1. Thats the common version, which has been around for seven years. If you read the actual description, it says it has a genuine swiss ETA movement, which makes it more expensive.
  2. I don't have an issue with wearing my dssd but I agree a 40 mm watch is more invisible on the wrist.
  3. Watches cost a lot less to make than you have been led to believe. DSSD with a21j ... $89 ... DSSD with Swiss ... $380 ... Because we all know an old swiss movement costs 290$.
  4. For Christmas ... something fancy, I think.
  5. This kid can not make watches and purses ALL DAY ... he needs a break, too!!!
  6. R-e-l-a-x ... the trusted dealers are not here to cheat you. They are "trusted" for a reason.
  7. If the watch is in stock, a trusted dealer can have it to you as fast as 5 days or as slowly as 30 days depending on where you live in the World, and what shipping method you pay for.
  8. Both mjmj and my inserts are simply old genuine parts, faded by sun and salt water. mine less so, than his.
  9. There are no official spare parts for Chinese ETA clones. Some genuine Swiss parts will fit, and some will not. As far as accuracy, a serviced China Clone is just as good as a serviced Swiss genuine ETA. I have China clones here that run +2 seconds a day.
  10. I'm going to say this because it's not intuitive for new people: Officine Panerai was not originally designed to be a "world brand" so it's name is not made for people all over the world to easily pronounce; think of Sony and Rolex, for instance. It's pronounced off eh CHEE nay pah nair EYE with the capital letters meaning the syllable you stress. So not "pah NAIR ay".
  11. My minute indices are flaking :/ and it was lumed by Zig so I have money in it.
  12. MJMJ - how is your ingod dial doing? Mine has conspicuous paint failure .. I hope it's an isolated incident. I had hoped it was a one-time thing, but it keeps flaking.
  13. Hello, I would be happy to answer your question, but can you please explain what you mean by "parts ticking accuracy" ? In other words, please re-phrase your question.
  14. The famous MBK is a starting point, not an end point. Expect $1200 in parts and mods (including your watch price) Mine:
  15. The real problem with replica watches is no factory QC. Even if your watch is "supposed to be" waterproof, a missing gasket will totally ruin that. You need to check before you get it wet in the real world. My replica Tag 500M is good for 7ATM after it was checked, and tested.
  16. The FM Crazy watches come with an Asia 21j movement plus the jumping hour complication attached to the front. If something goes wrong, they are $20, retail, to replace. (plus whatever it costs to have someone do the swap)
  17. The only Crazy Hours project I have moved on, so far, is the one for my Daughter's birthday at the beginning of this year. It came out great; standard FM Crazy watch + gen dial + custom croco strap by Inspire Workshop + TheZigmeister final assembly of all the parts. The gen dial has lume, but it is a bit damaged. I did not have Zig repair the lume (except re-lume the rep hands), since my Daughter is only 14. Have to watch that final cost!!
  18. Look near the top left side of any RWG screen and click on Watchbox for pics from many members' collections. WHOOPS it looks like the Watchbox feature is broken right now.
  19. The replica 1815's movement is nice, and very unique, but the replica does not look like this gen.
  20. Thanks everyone. It's almost a year now since I started planning with Hihoeyazmuhdee to build this piece.
  21. the WM9 factory closed a couple of years ago. The best modern Submariners are now made by BK's Watch Garage and a guy named TC on a different watch replica forum. You can find both these dealers/builders with a quick search here.
