  1. It's a year old in this picture, sorry. Stretched out from my cards, etc.
  2. Of course the author doesn't dare mention it's a sterile replica of a beautiful, classic OP ...
  3. Trusted Dealers normally sell factory watches, with no mods. Sead at SuperMirrors is in the EU, he is a modder and a dealer. You can ask him if he can source your Cartier ~
  4. http://www.ttw168.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=352&products_id=9158
  5. I can safely say the answer to that question is "YES" ... and ST4 .. it's gold plated, so it will not "patinate"
  6. I think RolexFinder is another member you can contact. He lives in this city, I believe? And has hand-picked watches for people before. I am not 100% certain about this info, but I believe it to be true.
  7. NICE! Thank you for 3000 excellent posts.
  8. So Payza required me to validate the card, but my issuer declined the charge. I'll get it all fixed later today; it's way too early in the morning to be talking to CC people on the phone.
  9. Narikaa will gladly go to the sales counter in MBK where these watches have always come from, and buy you one. I don't know if Highoeyazmuhudee still mods MBK watches but you could ask him.
  10. It is not impossible .. it is not even hard .. there are dealers and modders who will happily sell you an MBK watch either plain or modded/improved. I know sometimes people tell you a tall tale to make their older watches (MBW etc) seem more desirable and more costly when they sell them.
  11. The gentleman who imports the Yacht Master also has one of the best *modern* Submariners .. as far as Day-Date Presi .. there is not a Modder who currently "up-specs" these watches; you have to buy what the Dealers have. That's not to say that what they carry is crap .. it's just not "ultimate" territory. I don't follow "modern" Submariner designs, so I can't link TC's ultimate Sub for you .. Im sure many other people here can, tho ... and hey .. if you want something high-dollar and special, why not a Paul Newman chronograph?? There are great examples from custom builders.
  12. I'm sorry to hear about you being robbed; you are in luck, however, that a brilliant replica of the YM is available .. top grade across the board. Here it is -----> http://blog.tc-sub.com/2012/06/tc-factory-direct-yacht-master.html
  13. My best wishes to you Dad. Speedy recovery!
  14. HI ... I have been asking since 15-Jan to have my existing invoice cleared. Please?
  15. If I had to guess, I would say that Maria went to MBK, originally, to buy these watches to resell to us.
  16. Maria was a trusted watch merchant years ago. He is long gone. He is the one who first introduced this particular watch to the community. MBK is a mall in southeast Asia. MBK is it's name. There is a shop in the MBK mall where you can buy these watches. MBK is an acronym for "the mall of everything."
  17. Well if they paid between $78 and $130 for it (the trusted dealer range for this watch) then it's a mineral crystal and an Asia 21j movement.
  18. There are three levels of replica on this watch, from WOW that is bad to HMM that's pretty good.
  19. The 7750 only winds in one direction. If you alternate turns, you are only winding it half the time.
  20. OK .. just a thought for you .. there are versions of the DSSD which come with the normal mineral glass crystal. It's the model that sells for $99, and comes with a china A21j movement inside. Describe for me how it feels to wind this watch .. can you hear or feel an obvious buzzing in the crown as you turn it? I work in light industry and after 3.5 years of banging this DSSD on steel racks and shelving it has zero scratches.
  21. Are you 100% certain that the metal was not deposited onto the sapphire crystal. This is how marks normally show up on these. The crystal does not scratch, the metal gets scratched, and ends up smeared on the crystal.
