  1. I know - I was really impressed too! My COSC spec'd Planet Ocean us running at +5...
  2. TOO MUCH DATA! I wonder if Rolex ever thought about the ramifications they'd have by "re-tooling" their dial/bezel making machines...
  3. Thanks Zeleni! @Ronin - Thanks! Glad you had one available! Still wearing it! It's running a bit fast - but I've got that sorted now - will check again in 24 hours - but according to my timer - it's at +2/day!
  4. I've been trying to find one of these over the last couple weeks, searching the Gen. Forums like crazy without luck...then I remembered that RWG is quite a DOXA stronghold. So I placed a WTB, and what pops up - a nearly new 1200t Searambler! I almost went with the Professional (Fully Orange Dialed), but I couldn't summon up the courage - maybe sometime in the future ...for now this does a lot to add a bit of color to my herd of Black Dialed Omega Divers. Here are a few pics:
  5. Just got a new one in the stable: DOXA 1200t Searambler
  6. Dude! That is huge! ("That's what she said")
  7. +1 - That Omega and SuperLuminova for you - Glows like Crazy -my Vintage NOS Seamaster 300 is the same way! and i LOVE IT!
  8. Hey Gran - no logo on the new ones - only on the Hesalite models...
  9. Wow. I don't know what happened. But I think I have to retract all that I said about these guys. Looks like this guy has gone a bit loopy. Just a bit
  10. You may not need to fine Sand Paper - depends on the scratches - Polywatch can get rid of some pretty decent scratches all by itself. What I do is as follows: Put about a Pea sized dot of polywatch on the top of the crystal and then rub it in a circular motion until the polywatch disappears and the crystal is clear - repeat as necessary. Depending on the depth of the scratch it may take several attempts... I've gone the wet sand paper route - but they were really deep scratches...
  11. Happy B-Day S! Thanks for what you do around here!
  12. That is a valid point Mike - I thought about that too - it comes down to how many lives have to be sacrificed in order to save those in the future..I don't have an answer - waaay above my pay grade...
  13. I'm talking about years ago - mid 2000's...they've been around for a long time...I think they started in '05...
  14. Very true - but this isn't their first video - They are actually from the area of San Diego where I live - and think they are pretty legit. They've been around for quite a while - this is just their biggest video. I just thought it was stupid that the girl in the made the claim that the video guy is getting rich off of this - that was just stupid. Look at the boards/financial from any big charities and you'll find very similar expenses. These guys are just currently the "it" charity. I am not saying I am endorsing them - I just thought the "counter" video was dumb...
  15. I watched the video, on the news - so I am confused - am I supposed to believe this girl - whoever she is, the video, or the news... $90K a year to a video editor - ~INSERT SARCASM~ wow, that guy is rich - GIMME A BREAK! They are a San Diego based company - $90K/year will buy you a modest (very modest) 3 Bedroom/2 Bath home or a decent condo....~INSERT MORE SARCASM~ I am not going to donate to a company who tries to provide a reasonable wage to it's employees - no way - never gonna do it - what a horrible company...they should get somebody who sucks at making videos, because then more money could go to Africa - wait...if nobody is touched by the video - no money comes in...but...wait...I am confused Checkout their website - it has a direct link to their financials and annual report.. http://www.invisiblechildren.com/ Make the decision for yourself - not by watching the video of some random nobody....just my $.02
  16. Good catch. It is different. Your movement is a 2500C. Omega switched to a newer coaxial recently (2500D) and when they did, they changed the font on the datewheel. The main change they made is in the coaxial wheel. It's now more similar to their in-house 8500 movement. To everybody else....THANKS!
  17. Thanks! And here are s'more pictures as promised:
  18. Well after have 2 Frankens over the last couple years and immediately missing them as soon as I sold them - I decided to bite the bullet and go for the real deal. This is the first New Gen that I have ever purchased and had an excellent transaction and a great price. Here are my first few pics - I need to bust out the DSLR - but for now the iPhone will do:
  19. Looks smaller than I thought it'd be...
