1. I'm no rollie boy so this is a rare one for me today.. BK/WM9 YM: Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
2. Great pics! I wasn't a fan to begin with, but I'm definitely thinking about the 292 now Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
3. Gotta keep the PAM flag flying here Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
4. Yeah I remember you posted yours sometime back, but I didn't notice the PreV screws on yours too. Looks like you and OP got your watches from the same source/factory. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
5. That's interesting. The factory decided for some reason to put Pre V style lug screws on this watch. First time I've seen this on a 187 rep model. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
6. Yes, they both use the same set of hands. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
7. Nice strap combo mate. Still wondering if I should stay on the gen rubber or spring for a croc strap to mate with my RG. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
8. Good eyes. I didn't notice it till you mentioned it. This rep seems to have its lug holes drilled the other way wrong i.e. the lug screws go in through the left lug instead of the usual right lug. Seems kinda odd. Most of the other 187 reps I've seen before have the lug holes drilled correctly. Might be a slight oversight during the manufacturing process. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
9. Btw, one of the more obvious tells on the rep 187 in my opinion is that its sub-dials have a glossy sheen to them. The sub-dials are pretty matte on the gen. So you could consider spraying a layer of matte coating onto the dial to reduce the glossy sheen. I've not seen it actually done before, but just an idea to consider Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
10. Thanks mate. I think the lume is fine if you want it to look like NOS condition. I have seen some 187 safe queens that still have not patina'd much over the years. I wouldn't mess with the AR to be honest. Gen AR has a purplish tint, however I don't think any of the AR folks like Chief and Taka can replicate a purplish AR, so I'd leave it as is for now. Blue is better than no AR Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
11. Congrats! Great job with your 187. You got yourself a mightily-close-to-gen watch there. Here're a few pics of my gen beater for your comparison. As I said, pretty damn close already Enjoy and wear it well! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
12. You can try DSN too. He has 7753 Pam date wheels, but the date font on DSN's is just very slightly less bold than that of Taka's. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
13. Nothing that you can't afford mate Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
14. Passionate tuesday.. Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
15. Nice pics F. Am loving the RG rubberclad too. Just slapped on a gen AP rubber strap on mine. Maybe I'll wear the Chronopassion tomorrow Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
16. Sporting my newly completed 196 build.. Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
17. I thought so too when I moved back to Singapore a few years back. Just hail a cab to go anywhere and not worry about driving and finding parking. That is, until I realized it's near impossible to get a bloody cab during peak hours, rainy days etc. Spend enough time here in Singapore and you'll know what I mean. Sent from my HTC Vision using Tapatalk
18. I feel your pain buddy.. My ride costs like US$30k new in the US, but last I checked here in Sing, brand new sticker price for my wheels is now a cool US$130k here.. Ridiculous!! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
19. actually i've seen a number of gen rubberclads and they do have AR. the older themes models don't look like they have AR though.
20. I'd be interested in 2 of these. Even better if it also came with double AR Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
21. You wont find anything better than a BK/WM9 YM. Only way to get them now is to buy it off someone looking to sell, since WM9 no longer makes these. Sent from my HTC Glacier using Tapatalk
22.

Not sure about website but I ordered these through PM on wristcheck. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
23. allow me to first state the disclaimer that in no way am i affiliated with voot nor have any commercial interests with him. i am just a very satisfied customer after receiving his strap creations. i'm not certain if vootzilla is active on RWG, but i'm sure you can look him up easily on a couple of the other usual rep forums, and also on Risti accessories section. bought the original tan textured strap and a nubuck JV strap from voot a few weeks back. finally had the chance to mate them with my 005K, and i am simply blown away. someone else here has previously done a short review on the tan textured strap, so i shall skip it by just saying it's one beauty of a strap. now, i wanna talk to you about the nubuck JV, which has such a beautiful texture and so soft it wears like butter. love the raw edges on the strap as well and i can already foresee this to be a keeper that i can easily pair with a variety of PAMs that I have now and also those that i will own in future. and the price of these straps are just ridiculously great value for money. i have Simona, San Dave, Mario Paci, Kaktus etc straps in my drawer, and that's where they're staying for now as my voot straps are definitely the flavor of the month. words just don't do them enough justice, so i'll let the pictures do the talking (thanks also in part to the amazing new Samsung EX1 camera that is now my go-to gadget for watch photography). enjoy!
24. the grey sharkie would look great on the chronopassion! i'm wearing mine right now on an AP Bands carbon fibre pattern strap:
25. rocking my much-neglected 305 on this hot sunday morning.. then maybe switch to the 187 for an evening dinner with the family...
