  1. live in sunny singapore mate.. tropical all year round, perfect climate to have a pool
  2. a little late to the game, but better late than never! i haven't been in the rep game for a few months now (and to think i used to get in 4-5 reps per month on average), but the newer PAM releases have piqued my interest, especially the 288. i know this latest effort by the rep factory has received plenty of good comments in terms of accuracy and build quality, but i still feel i should add on to say that the 288 is probably THE best out-of-the-box rep that i have held in my hands in recent times the watch oozes quality everywhere, and it holds its own with the rest of my gens. and this coming from a PAMhead who's not quite a radiomir fan (save for the 232). also because the rad cases from the cartel have been pretty crap, until now! i'm frankly amazed at the case replication of the 288, and even the caseback engraving looks crisp and sharp. before i get the "this thread is worthless without pics!", here're a few iphone pics i just took after strapping on a Paci Squalo strap:
  3. try asking Spinmaster.. he has assembled quite a few DW7032 using the valjoux7734 movements so far, including mine.. so i'm sure he would be able to point you in the right direction
  4. can't find the pics mate.. the one in your post is a Tour Auto..
  5. had some time to play around with my iphone today and took my 187 off the wrist for a quick photoshoot:
  6. looks like i just found my next gen purchase once the ADs get this... how can you say no to this??
  7. nice catch mate, and congrats on a beautiful watch!
  8. that looks pretty flush to me mate.. the CG pin could probably use a little modding to make it more flat and flush with the CG, but that's pretty easy to do..
  9. Yes it's made of grade 5 titanium, and the case seems yo have been further treated with a beadblasted finish. Hence it looks different from the usual Ti finish.
  10. Good to see another fellow U-42 owner here! Mine says hi
  11. don't know about good priced T128s, though i do know of a few watch parts hoarders who actually bought some recently to keep as spares!
  12. it's prob a sign for you to pop the cherry for that T128 now good job on brushing the bezel. i too have been thinking about ditching that mirror finish. so a 3M pad will do the trick? any particular type to go for?
  13. congrats siesta and chuan! looks like the Spin factory has been working double overtime to churn these bad boys out. and i'm glad to see that Spin managed to fit the 24-700 crown with the Mars tube. now i need to go bug Spin and get my 7032 back! lol maybe we should start a 7032 SG Posse club
  14. wondering about the size of the strap notch between the lugs of the new A7753 daylight cases. anyone can take a pic of theirs to shed some light? i recall the old school EL daylight casesets had small strap notches as per gen..
  15. some T-dial Sub love for Friday..
  16. friday already in sunny singapore!

    New 3714-01

Lol. I thought it was gen too. The chrono pushers don't protrude out as much as the rep 3714. Great pickup, got the same gen for my missus a few months back and paired it with a oem dark brown gator. Goes very well with the gold numerals. Mine's the older one with no AR and fish crown.
  18. Ok ok. Before my little joke begins to offend anyone, I shall come clean and categorically state that this 187 is actually just a plain vanilla gen which I recently acquired
  19. yes sir.. it sure is
  20. this took quite a while to scout for and secure, but i finally got my hands on a beauty of a PAM187 that i can safe is 99.9% close to gen - gen case, with specially engraved caseback and custom serial - gen crystal - gen CG & crown - gen dial & hands - gen movement - working quick date set - working HE valve the 0.01% that's not gen is the MP strap.. lol and the PAM experts prob realised this by now.. this is no franken.. hehe
  21. estimated cost including gen parts and labour cost is about US$1700. i should prob add that i managed to source for the movement and gen crystal at very good prices, though the gen bracelet didn't come cheap. so your mileage may vary, also depending on how whether you want to go the gen route on certain parts.
  22. let's just say, mine's the first 7032 out of the Spinmaster factory, and certainly not the last. there are already some eager beavers who are waiting for theirs to roll out from the factory
  23. it sure can.. though i believe Spin told me there's a little modding required to fit the gen parts like the T128 crystal.. but nothing that a qualified modder can't handle all the best and hope you get yours completed soon!
