I wanted to start a very low cost 6536/1, build with gen parts under 5000 euro without the bracelet. It's doable but you have to wait a very long time to have the right parts for the right money. Just need a 1030 movement and hands to complete the build
Jup I asked a price, it was only 6000 euro's.....It's a well known member on VRF btw Emanuele, from VRF sold me a gen early service dial for 1000 euro, I can live with that. A dial from Ivan was an option but to expensive and not gen.
Don't use a phone on a smalband internet operator.... Building a gen small crown 6536 it is! I have a pristine long 5 insert but this one looks a lot better.
I remember a thread on VRF where those inserts are called not original. Ray, a guy that sells stuff on the VRM had a long 5 super font for sale.
This was way back in time, will look for the threads.
You need one link for one connector, cut it on 1/3 from the link you need, using a dremel. Put a springbar on the cutted link and fold the other side around the springbar.
When done, make a cut in the center of the link.
The thread is from Akira. I used a hollow link for my bracelet, cut it open with a dremel and bend it around a springbar with a plier. It's realy easy.
Ok mislabeled a watch, it can happen They where 100% sure it was a genuine 7016. It looks like a 79190 but the crown guards are to fat and it has a 6mm crown? Also watchcase number 737731 is a well known fake 7016 serial. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=215402
I warned the original seller and Chrono24 but they decide to screw someone else..... 2200 euro for this? http://chrono24.auctionata.com/intl/o/99951/tudor-submariner-ref-70160-switzerland-around-1969?noredir=1
