I hope you can assist me to build it back better :-) It seems i have some Nice Parts left to build a gen like 1680 Submariner. Genuine 1970 case with matching numbers to complete a red sub. Gen 7836 bracelet. It Will be my daily beater! Dial and hands are easy to get. The movement is the problem. Which ETA movement Will fit this case? Last week I advertised a Rolex bezel and insert for sale on VRM and the first one that responded was Chrono-shop, I did not know that until he made a wrong payment with PayPal. (I only accept PayPal from known members, if not you can pay by gift or wire, which was clearly stated in the advertising.) I refused the payment and after that he lied to me and said he paid me with the gift option which was not true. He promised me a new payment with the gift option asap. Nothing happened so I mailed him back, a day later that our deal was gone. You sold it to someone else!!!!??? Was his last response...yes to someone from RWG. I wonder how much money he would have asked for the set

Indeed JMB, impressive work. I bought a few years back a complete case, bracelet and dial. The problem is, to find a suitable automatic movement.

You read it wrong, it's $75900 I'm sure you can Pingle it to 75000 because you're a forum member! So it's $900 for the watch and $75000 for the custom work!

Don't get me wrong, it's not my intention to break your watch down. With a great build like that, it screams for better hands and it will cost you peanuts. The hands from Phong or Yuki are just not good in my eyes. Tail from the seconds is circled in red and not close to genuine hands.

Oops sorry, I caught him and at first I didn't know he was a member at TRF. The thing is when I see, I am a member of the NAWCC, IWJG, AWCI............... For most people it's the same as, OK that's a good guy and they know what there doing. Tim Strong is/was a scammer and need to be caught. Don't think people from the regular Rolex fora will point a finger to the rep forums. Many members from the regular Forums are members here or to another rep forum. It's the only way to know or to discover the new techniques on the aftermarket scene.

Good job Nanuq! Mary's bracelet is actually very good, early gmt's have the 8 figure endlinks and the weird clasp link like the bracelet from Mary.
