This will be mine! I've been anxiously awaiting this for so long. I'd buy the gen if you could.
Unfortunately now it will have to wait until mid january because i'll be away and i think Aussie post offices return to sender if uncollected within 14 days.
Can any aussies reading verify this?
if no one has done it by then i will post up a review/pictorial. I'm optimistic because Josh's pics are always over-saturated, I'm also optimistic becuase of the attached gen pic which is also oversaturated. Though the colour variations through the length of the second hand on the rep worry me (but not enough not to grab it hehe).
Bugger! I wont be here long enough to collect it.
Gonna have to wait till after hols.
I really hope the colour thing is just Josh's normal over-saturation and it's more accurate than his pics appear.
Pretty awesome rep hey? I think because it's a love or hate kinda watch it's not widely known how good this rep is.
But out of 40 or so collected so far, this is my most accurate rep by far.
I'm sure yr friend will love it.
It has arrived:

Will order as soon as the deets are up. Been waiting for this for a loooooong time.
Only 399 of the gens made
Anyone had any luck getting the V1 clasp apart to re-spring it?
The V2 was easy but for the life of me i cannot get the V1's clasp apart.
Any tips very much appreciated.
Dells make great desktops. Some of the laptops are great, just be wary - they have had a couple generations recently with GPU/Mobo issues caused by Intel and are essentially irreparable - i.e. do not buy a second hand Dell XPS, just to be on the safe side.
I can thoroughly recommend Asus like the peeps above, especially if yr leaning towards a netbook. They offer about 8.5 hours of on-time and they really will last that long. Even in the real world.
Gaytona for some nightnlubs.
IME girls like shiny/sparkly things, like diamond jewellery and iDevices. If you want a girl to notice your watch make sure it fits that breif (that doesn't mean bling - A mesh strap will do the trick).
Had forgotton how impressive this one is. Ploprof V2 on gen mesh yest.
Without doubt, this watch gets more positive attention and comments from the ladies than any other watch I've ever owned... by about 1000%
Just to confuse even more hehe. ithe peeps above are correct. the 45 wears very big for a 45 especially the chrono.
I know the pic is a little misleading (it isn't wider than my 7.5 wrist) but I have both and the chrono appears to wear much bigger than the non-chrono:
Hehe, yes. In fact i wear reps more than gens now. Except when the gens are new.
But like Watchmeister - there are occasions where I only wear gens. Just like there are occasions where i only wear seiko's and some where I won't wear gold watches.
With the exception of G-shocks (exercise/mowing the lawn), the watches are selected purely for social or professional reasons.
Wow, that's bad luck. The only watch I've ever had to return was one i broke myself. There was no charge for repair or shipping. Just a kindly "please send it back, i will take care of it sir".
My only cost was the shipping from me to him.
Oh, and like someone above said in part one, it spent more time in transit on the mainland than it did from Aus to China.
