I love that Deville redwatch! Here's the collection I've put together since starting in August this year. I've also just ordered the U1 PVD this morning: As many warned when I joined/upgraded, this is totally addictive, there are many many more on the to-get list.

Some sweet watches in here. Think I'd like a white faced Pam. After buying a sweet homage I may have finally gotten the panerai thing. I didn't like the style at first but the homage has given me appreciation for the style and wrist presence... I've been browsing my preferred dealer for a white face 44mm with date and cyclops but can't seem to find one with this criteria. Does anyone know if such a model exists? Thanks!

I think it's the bracelet. Admittedly, I've never held the speedy bracelet when removed from the watch but the rep bracelet feels hollow, and even though it probably is as well - the gen doesn't. chronos666, it is the charcoal on their site and unfortunately they don't have PVD buckles but I came across a seller of unbranded pre-v's etc on ebay the the other day. Will chase them down after work today, hopefully the pvd will match.

Thanks guys, Having bought both 2813 and "swiss" ETA reps so far, I understand the difference. Whether swiss or not the ETA is quality movement when compared to the 2813. I'm really just wondering if the 2836-2 is considered a decent movement in its own right or if it's generally considered crappy like the 2813? Thanks again!

Excellent! Yours does look great. I went with Getat simply because of the custom thing. Great to hear about the strap cos i ordered the hand cut charcoal calf too You're right about Getats service. Fantastic communication and easy to purchase a custom. With my brief experience in the rep world I was expecting anything custom to be a hassle, but getat were a breeze. It cost me a little more off the shelf but way cheaper than any similar Pam rep. Just wish mine get here already...

I agree jmb, and thave thought about it since joining here. While it's not to be taken too seriously, language and the written word is what I work with. Reproduction is more accurate descriptor for the watches we buy. Bonus, we can still call "rep" for short.

Yep, I had my finger on the button for a U1 until I got confirmation that they are doing the U-black! It's a must have for my taste.
