  1. He said he was working on it for mid-May... But was asking me about a set of hands, which I couldn't help him with So, maybe that's what's holding things up...

I'd like to see you post this over on the other forum where Jared would be able to at least speak on his own behalf for the watch.
  3. Now I know where you borrowed that one from. Some amazing PPs in that thread...
  4. That is correct as it lacks the calendar mech/ring.
  5. FF would definitely be nice, but it would have to be done right...
  6. From personal experience, a 2824 will exchange with a 1520...
  7. Tudor Heritage: Yes, please JLC MC Diving Alarm: Yes, please Mare Nostrum: Yes, please And my own list- Sinn 756 Haven't really looked at any other stuffs from recent brands or manufacturers to add any further...
  8. Looks as though it was retrieved from the depths of the ocean... At one time lost and forgotten but now found. Very nice! That's one serious beast...
  9. Yours, freddy? If so... That is quite nice!

  13. The eBay process can be long and tiresome. Were any of your local dealers able or willing to provide confirmation in writing that your watch has been determined not genuine? That may help...
  14. I'm quite amazed that it's still running! Interesting to compare/contrast how far the world of reps has come...
  15. I'm not really up to date on these things, but I think the offerings are pretty standard fare across the different dealers, no?
  16. It does have an extremely fat lip; that must have been some impact to cause that kind of damage at :29... Interesting to me that the crystal has the damage at 4:00 - 5:00; I wonder if it somehow shifted as part of the impact, or if maybe the crystal was removed during one of it's servicings, rehaut inspected and crystal reinstalled out of orientation to the prior damage?
  17. Indeed- We can discuss the +/- of any dial or part to great lengths and extent, but what really matters is how you feel about the dial/parts/project
  18. Rather interesting, the characteristics that tritium takes on as it ages. Makes each example unique in it's own right. I agree that off-white/ivory is best for the aesthetics...
