  1. Those IWC diver bezels are always amazing to look at. To execute lume application to an area of this size in a consistent manner by hand is just incredible. Now that is skill... And talent...
  2. Here's a breakdown on cost: Omega 2201.50 PO 4th Gen Donor $280 Bezel (genuine) $190 Hands (genuine) $60 Dial (genuine) $222 Datewheel (2892) $30 Bracelet (genuine) $300 Total: $1,082 Watch is now with a new owner and home... Cheers! //ubi
  3. Either that, or maybe he's just messed up the watches that he's held onto to a point where they're beyond fixing, or collectively too expensive to purchase the replacement parts in aggregate. Either way, he is responsible for the return of property to the parties invloved, in either original condition as originally submitted, or with the work completed as requested, and in satisfactory state.
  4. One can purchase sterile dial DSSD homage kits from helenarou, so they are out there EDIT: Doesn't look like she has any kits on offer now, but she does have a completed watch listed here: DSSD homage (sterile dial)
  5. Continued... Tube removed thanks to jmb CGs in prog... And finished. Start reassembling... And taking shape. Hope Ronin likes the end result! Cheers, //ubi
  6. Agree 100%; Chief's is absolutely worth the wait. BTW, what were you doing to scratch the Chief AR? His coating is usually quite resilient, and can stand up to some severe punishment...
  7. Well wishes and hope to see you back on your feet again soon, Pete!
  8. J- In that lot of 2671s that you picked up, are some with hour wheels/pinions present? Or were all of them sent without these wheels? If there are some with an hour wheel fitted, it should be a fairly easy exercise to size one up and compare accordingly...
  9. Looks great, buddy! Those hands are a very nice compliment to the dial!
  10. Very nice indeed! Great watch!
  11. Ehhh... I'd still take stilty's adaptors any day of the week over these. Not only is stilty a pleasure to work with, but more to the point, he has performed extensive testing of his rings to ensure that they are compatible for the movement/case retrofit specific to the application. Plus, he stands behind his product 100%...
  12. Don't sell yourself short, Chi. I know otherwise!
  13. The JLC is very nice regardless... If only we could convince the factory to remove the 'REGULATEUR' off the dial, it would be even better! Cause it's gorgeous otherwise...
  14. I like the JLC very much, but am confused as to where the Regulateur part of the watch is?
  15. Great watch for the money... Definitely an excellent value...
  16. Hope all had a great weekend, and an equally great start to the week. I'll be kicking Monday off with my 3717 franken... Have a good one! //ubi
  17. For a 1002 with aftermarket dial, it's definitely not worth that price.
