The new look is interesting but I also am getting the following message:

Automatico - 28.5? This last batch of cases I have might take one of these. When I first started modding these cases the "dial seat" was about 28.25mm and a gen movement probably wouldn't fit. The later cases (past year maybe?) have a dial seat of a little over 29mm so the gen movement might fit. I really don't know as I've never had a gen movement to play with...
What is the OD of the 1570? I just "installed" a new Yuki rivet on a recent built and the endlinks were very flimsy and didn't fit for $hit - the clasp was also horrendous...
I personally wouldn't want to carve up a gen case...
Hey, M, the 1016 master himself! Really strange that all of the Space-Dwellers I've built for people have had matte dials and white markings. I do seem to remember that the ingod was white with "SPACE-DWELLER" in a silverish color...
Tryin' to stay busy, but not TOO busy! Been through the kid thing, and car thing and now started on motorcycle and gun thing! Not enough hours in the day...
All of the rep bracelets I've dealt with have 5 removable links. I doubt the Startime bracelet has "fake screws", never seen any but I suppose it's always possible with things Chinese. I have, however, seen a lot of screws that were cross-threaded and sometimes required a drill to remove. Maybe soak them in something like Aero-Kroil and they might loosen up a bit...
Have you asked Startime about this?
Is the stem too "high" (toward the dial) in the tube or too low? If too high, try a 2836 and see if the stem lines up. If too low remove the dial spacer, date wheel guts, and stick dial directly to movement and see if it lines up...
Sometimes ya gotta get creative and "sneaky."
My cases require a 28mm - 29mm dial. Gen size is right at 28mm.
I got a reply back from my parts guy and he said he could still get the non-COSC "Maxi" dials. I may get a couple and try to swap markers.
You can usually poke the markers out from the back pretty easy...
