Some more info 2 versions: titanium case with steel bezel (100 pieces) 18k rose gold case (50 pieces) You're interested in the RG case: Details: * outer borders on the subdials are white gold * WHITE gold numerals, the titanium case has rose gold numerals (AP's anouncement stated these were white gold on the RG case and WG on the ti case, this is wrong... ) * all hands are white gold and filled with creamy blue color (creamy color on the Ti version) * the "AP Audemars Piguet" logo is Pink Gold and the "Audemars Piguet" text is WHITE * the numerals are plates, it is not painted like the other ROO's, it is like the Arnold Legacy model * Pushers are dark brown * Caseback engraved with the Cabildo and the inscription “Pride of Argentina - 1810-2010– Limited * limitation of 50 pieces * The Date cutout part is not painted, same like the Montauk for example Good luck, I don't think you'll be able to do this at home honestly... Guys, I am getting together all my parts for my DW Tudor 7032 build. As a gen 25-128 crystal can be had but at high prices (some asking $400) I have been looking for some alternatives. There's Phong, but he's generally quite high with his prices (and I'm on a budget). Now, I would like to know what the dimensions are of a gen 25-128 crystal so I can pick the crystal that is leaning most towards the genuine article. I've found 2 other suppliers of these aftermarket crystals, here you can see some pics I got from them: Supplier nr. 1 (diameter 33mm, thickness 3,5mm) $78: Supplier nr. 2 (diameter 33.1mm, thickness unknown til now, waiting for his response on the thickness) $90:

I have provided Toro of all info on the Montauk and honestly, it looks close but it is not the best AP rep IMO. The blue is very hard to rep, I agree on the Chronopassion and the Safari (with mods, cfr, scraping off the dial paint around the numerals to get the silver borders), I'd also recommend to take a look at the Silver Themes/Panda, Driver Boutique, Tour Auto, Black Themes.

I have the gen strap as well, and I can only say, no aftermarket strap beats it. They can get close though. Z, why selling your gen strap? I think about selling my AP bands rubber white strap, will put it for sale soon.

Thanks for the tips guys! Helps me quiet a lot but makes the choice even harder. I have got some Lonely Planet books lying here, always use them while travelling. Will discuss with the GF what she's about. As she's an architect it might well be ending up with a city that has some architectural highlights...
