Wow i'd love one of these old school reps to have a play with!

not sure try searching for 'disassemble' and you might get a few hits I know the search button doesnt seem to work too well with me because half the threads dont show up for some reason :S

I love these old reps great for a laugh and sentimental value of when reps were cheap and stupidly flawed. If it doesnt run it would be good to stick in a new 21j movement, get her cleaned up and get her back to running form

Haha yea 1 million pairs of shoes yet 20 watches is far too many for a guy to have can't win!

There are a few nice quartz reps and the good thing about them is they are cheaper to buy. If you like that watch a good genuine tag heuer 1000 or link with a quartz movement would be a good step up

This guy is no longer about after he was caught pulling a scam so I doubt his photos or presence will be about anytime soon

Probably a bit picky but they dont seem to be selling anymore with the engraved movement plates. Thats the one id be interested in. Even though id never see it its nice to know the details there

Looks like a great rep to me. If its even 90% gen like I'd be happy. People sometimes put their expectations too high, as long as there isn't any dust under the crystal, any misaligned bezel inserts etc I'm a happy chap. Saying that the gen I seen in Boston at a used watch dealers already had specks of dirt under the crystal.

Theres been a few popping up on RWI but they're having server issues so it can be a bit frustrating checking their sales area. Some dealers are offering the Black Bay for around $300 shipped now too

Been noticing that the new Tudor Black Bay reps are only just reaching buyers and already they are being moved on. With so many catch and releases it's making me thing there's something people aren't liking about the watch? I've seen a gen of the Black Bay while in Boston and it was a lovely watch and even though I'm trying to save for a gen Rolex I'm pretty tempted to order a Black Bay rep to see if its a good as the gen.
