Thanks UR I wonder if that dial might be the OP Black/Brown like on my 267 dial? It is nothing like say the 36 or 203 dial...it really is black most of the time especially under crystal.. I know what you mean with the 001s it seems those grey (transition) years in OP history have created a lot of ambiguity in model details ... Though it does make it all the more fun Thanks for clearing up on the Ti CB, I did wonder why J would engrave the SS CBs and not the Ti versions ( I assumed it might be the material as thats all I could think of...)

Its always his Ti casesets that are my biggest bugbear !! The shape reminds me of those budget cartel 318s a few years back... I thought, though I could be completely wrong, that I read on Risti or the like that this dial has variants similar to a few early 1997 dials etc on the thickness of the numerals, markers etc.. any idea on that mate? I thought you said he was a friend !!! Go and buy a 005 or 318 mate... Dont get the 111J IMHO they really need to sort out the inscription colour and the case isnt as good in shape for contemporary nor is the crystal compared to the HB factory or the lume...

I have had no problems with WEs budget watches in terms of the quality it is comparable to any other dealer and sometimes cheaper in that range... but I really would nt buy a Bentley Ling mate in that range.. I just feel the overall quality as a rep OTB is not great and there are plenty of rep models in that price range that offer the same wrist presence and are more accurate... Of course we all collect and wear for different reasons but as long as you know the weaknesses of buying such rep watches and are comfortably with that then "Fill your boots" mate and when it arrives post some pics... You might find it useful to consider others before committing..

I do love Copenhagen so I know my choice.....

Sorry to hear your woes mate.... I wish you well in sorting this and I am sure the TZ mods will be able to advise you on the best course of action plus they will be able to provide more info on the guy.... Have you thought about contacting USPS making out they have sent YOUR package to wrong address even though it may not be your package and see if you can rattle their cage into giving you the senders info etc etc Good Luck mate...Keep us updated !!!

Mate, I have to say that idea is out the box and I look forward to seeing the end product, what 6154 dial look are you going for? I love the idea of a destro are you going for the Montres CB etc as well if so is it worth the 921? I agree on the plexi but I think you should leave your options open on that till you finish off the case, which aint a bad job at all!! Especially the edging of the boat hull.... Are you going for a complete refinish or a vinitagised finish? I just wonder if you could make the CG work with a 6154 crown..? I love the idea of the 921 but if you go with that then your display it...? Which engraved plates are you thinking of on that? The concentric or the swirls? I dont know the tech terms so I will keep it simple so I understand !! Great share mate.. Thanks I look forward to see the project progress please keep us updated mate
