  1. To be honest I dont get why you would post a question asking that.... Given your other posts asking about sunglasses then stating in another you would only buy gen Ray ban from ***** in another... Are you friends with member 'Jenifer' on here? Because you have similar types of posts? I think if you post a thread question like that you should at least spend the time to explain why you ask and what your concerns are before you should expect others to take the time to reply.... Something just seems off but maybe its just me and of course if I am totally off the mark I will apologise ....
  2. I would put money on it that Rolex SA dont know nothing about this and although the lawyers maybe representatives of RSA its unlikely unless they have also sent evidence of authorisation from RSA that this is an official fine or indeed a legal one... no matter where in EU you are a private company cannot fine you without going to court and getting a judgement from a court.... Otherwise any company could fine you .. They cannot seek any fine without proof that you knowingly imported a counterfeit item which they could not prove ... for example whos to say that you paid for genuine items and were scammed the intent to import is with the sender unless the lawyers can prove you knowingly purchased these items with the intent to procure counterfeit items.. As said ignore mate.... let them earn the right to make a legal fine... which so far this is not its no better than a scam for money...
  3. If I were you I would hang on as the big makers are going to be going strong on IWCs this year and you may well find some updates coming with these models
  4. I have driven a wide and varied number of things and as I type this I am reminded of just some of them.. I always remember my dad telling me that he could drive a coach and horses through a gap but to be honest I never saw him with any coaches in his garage let alone a horse or two... After I learnt to drive...I found that I could drive a bus through those gaps my dad would speak of.... I would often drive my dad around and then drop him off and drive away... then I would drive back to him again.... he never really liked it when I would drive off... and I would drive him up the wall when I did... he would often tell me I was driving him round the twist.... unlike my mum who I often drove to despair.. and on some occasions I would drive her to drink.... but my sister would always tell me that I drove her around the bend....and often I would drive her to distraction... so much so that I would drive over her feelings..... it almost made me drive myself to drink ... but that would mean I spent too much time having to drive the porcelain bus.... my gran would go on and on to drive home her point that I drove my grand dad to an early grave.... but she went on so much I would try to drive her into the ground.... When I would go out shopping with my mates they would always moan that I would drive a hard bargain....and that I would drive some of them nuts.... I was even accused of driving the price up.... and I certainly would drive some shop assistants up the wall.... my friends would say I was driving a wedge between them .... and indeed I did drive some of them over the edge.... but as my life went on I Iearnt to never drive back.... though on occasion I did drive crazy ... at other times I would drive batty.... but most of the time I would drive safely.... it was hectic I almost thought I would drive myself out of my mind..... though I can say I would never drive back ... nor drive into... indeed I would never drive down.... I also now find myself as I type driving home my point that I seem to be quite a driven person...!!!
  5. Only other thing i would say is they are cheaper at Ken Chazingtime or Ryan at intime
  6. Congrats mate.... I wish him health wealth and happiness in his life... Sorry wrong wrist.. Franken Saturday
  7. Like the watch.. and lurv the mesh... Orange seems to suit your jaundiced arms.. What mesh is that as it has some nice linkage.. I am toying about getting one for my Franken RM XXL but cant decide on which thickness, link, and style generally etc as there are so many choices.. just when I make a choice I change my mind!! I take it N that you tend to wear watches like this to distract people from staring at your hump...
  8. The key as you know is the thickness.... I would double check that in that sale.. I used a double sided 3M roll which is almost same thickness slightly less as a quality sellotape so I had no height sitting issues... most inserts sit angled to the face of the bezel so the area to be taped is minimal in surface area terms.. I got that from a stationery store.. as I could be sure of the thickness before buying.. However most of the newer reps I have found that the bezel inserts push fit quite nicely even when upgrading to gen insert so with those its half a job already.. I have worn a few without any tape (while I was deciding on whether to fix in a more durable manner..
  9. Mendota... My dads brother was a Uboat captain in the Irish Air Force he spent most of the war in the Libyan desert
  10. Youll find if you contact someone like Ken at bergies or a few other dealers (watches) that they have as good a source for anything else rep... guys like Sead, Andrew etc Though why you would want a rep set of head phones is escaping me mate...
  11. That moose aint going to do much... the only time you need to be moose aware is when there wearing lipstick and dancing round their handbags on the dance floor... Today i decided that I am going to go out searching for those hands to shake and see if I can find that money coming in from left and right.... I think I'll start in the gents toilets in my local park...
  12. LOL ! You're such a tease.... But you know if you go near that ban button you will lose all your moose privileges.... I am still tight with all those Alaskan babes...
  13. Quickly... I prefer the finish of the bezel and screws and thier depth.. the fit of the crown ... the AR on the crystal and the waffle of the dial and the cut outs plus the hand finish on the edges and on their arcs..on the wrist to me it has a better look in lights and with reflections etc... its hard to explain quite what that is objectively but once youve had a rep and a gen of same model on the wrist you get to know how a gen looks under varying lights ... sometimes its that alone that can make a rep stand out on someone elses wrist.. I find it especially so with PAMs and Hublots even the so called super reps are easy to spot.. but admittedly its highly unlikely that you will bump into the sorts of guys that would spot those sorts of details.. so the choice is yours mate.. However once you start learning it may well bother you... we are after all our own biggest critics and thats especially so with the reps you own.. and also your reasons for wearing them Like I say they both have issues its just a personal preference
  14. and look what Independence got ya... No tea.. !!
  15. you missed out the 'sta' from that mate... Alls good... Waaassssssuuuuuupppppp?
  16. The main difference is the way the V6 maker has dressed the Miyota... if you look at the 2 you will see that the V6 gives a better look of the gen 3120 movement behind the display CB.. Other than that they both have their good and bad points as with any rep... ideally you probably want both to make a hybrid But overall at the moment I would say go for the V6 as if you change your mind later down the road its the better seller.. but on the wrist I like the TF but thats me..
  17. Do you want her back ????!!!!! Please....
  18. Are those rep or franken cufflinks ... ??
  19. For me the Monaco as a design has been so diluted over the years due to the variations and what with that and the way Tag has become a very distinct brand as in the type of people that buy them (which is another discussion ) Personally I find the Monaco as it was has lost the appeal that made it what it was IMHO... Without doubt mate you should hold on to the CS2110 as it has more of the genes that made the Monaco what it was in its better days.. and of course has the higher value by complication alone but also i think in terms of its attraction.. I like the Monaco as the Monaco but I dont feel that way about the variations and offshoots that are 'labelled' Monacos by TAG.. in the main and arguably simple by its case... The Steve McQueen attachment means nothing to me in the same way Sly has no bearing on my like of some PAMs or Arnie on APs etc etc.. It is however the only true Steve McQueen watch if there can be one .... given the way that those US auctioneers whose name escapes me now ( I will edit it if I remember) who went to a lot of effort many years back now and with some over deserved success to brand the Daytona panda... A 'Steve McQueen' Rolex ... and how quickly people/collectors bought into it and still do !!
