  1. The source used to be Palpatine but I paid him for 2 6 months ago
  2. I know you like Blue Dials By-Tor but I really think that Black dial on the Black rubber looks
  3. Love it. The 188 is one of my favorites. Mine is getting a Single Side AR coat on the crystal and an OEM crown job to match the Ziggy Lume. Where did you get the upgraded datewheel
  4. He can see them like everyone else I suspect. What he is talking about is the caption that says "Click to see full size image" which does not work on your images.
  5. Perhaps Barry Bonds could have a chance next year Sad day for a classic sport and one of the most respected sporting events in the world. Time for the teams and sponsors to cowboy up and make it more risky to dope. I think Vino's team did what they had to do. Rasmussen's team did the right thing for the sport, albeit a little late. They knew he missed whereabouts before the start. Why wait until he has almost won the legendary race to suddenly "care"?
  6. Couldn't agree more. Eddie has earned the respect he gets for a reason. He always comes through I feel the same way. I really haven't bought anything from him since the Perfect Clones site went up. Before that, he was my go to guy I recently bough from Paul and had a pleasant transaction. First time I went to him in 3-4 years
  7. For almost the same money I could pick up a genuine Speedy Moon or Sinn on TZ. Reps over $400 get out of my comfort zone
  8. Agreed. I don't notice the "So called" AR Lip marks on it at all....
  9. I wouldn't worry too much Victoria. Binoculars and a compass can't cause too much damage.
  10. Interesting trivia on the chocolate dial that I didn't know. Looks great! When did the silver datewheel hit the Red Sub scene?
  11. Citizen Don't see that one. The VCO is a classic Genta design IMO. Works as great dressed up with a Suit as it does dressed down with jeans or shorts. I like the integrated bracelet/case design and think the bezel is a looker with the mix of brushed and polished surfaces and angles. The diamond cut bracelet is very comfortable and really adds to the design. The guilloche dial is classic VC and with a Ziggy lume on the markers, glows nicely. Mine is ETA 2824 Pug with genuine Sapphire. It is from the first generation with some mods. I got the crystal Double AR from Chief which really sets ths dial off nicely.
  12. Nice objective review The VCO is one of my favorites.
  13. Beautiful Richard. I have a nice Elgin from my grandfather that runs great. I'll have to post some Pics as well.
  14. I also had an old man with a healthy Rolex collection By-Tor and also have a love/hate relationship with the brand. I went through the Rolex phase but I have to say I prefer the Omega style at this stage of my life. The Rolex brand has taken a bad turn in my eyes. I think the PO Black/White dial is much more attractive than the Rolex Sub or SD, and I used to be a huge SD fan. In fact this PO is my new all-time favorite. Despite the history and the price driven prestige of Rolex, Omega has my vote for style. Especially given the current designs coming out of Geneva :yucky: Although, the new Milgaus Black Dial with Orange is growing on me
  15. I gave up, sold my strap, and have decided I like the bracelet best
  16. Nope, my error. On second look they are the ETA datewheels. Fantastic job all around
  17. The girlfriend is a keeper Laz Oh yea, the watch is pretty nice too
  18. Now the owner needs to swap out the Day and Date wheels
  19. WOW RG. That looks insanely good. You are a patient man. I can only conject how difficult this must have been. Great work
