V1.5 arrived today after 25 days of no EMS updating and me thinking the package is MIA. Not a big deal, but I had some 177 parts in there that I really needed so I'm happy now. Reviews have already been done so I'll just post some pics. This was going to be a catch & release, but within a few minutes of having it I threw whatever was left in my parts box at it and I think I'm gonna hang onto it for a while. The hard plastic on the crown and pushers instead of rubber isn't really a big deal. The piece of crap bezel lug is what bugs me up close and I'll refinish it later. mods are; TX Crystal, V2 rotor, V1 strap (it's better), and polished the clasp screws. Not really worth doing the datewheel as I have a weird feeling it won't line up perfectly, and I don't have an extra of those at the moment. These are a pretty good Big Bang for the Buck :cool: and the wrist shot

Option 2 works, I've done it a few times. Remove stem, remove crown from stem, shorten the stem CAREFULLY around 1mm at a time with a knife sharpening stone by hand. Hold the stem with needle nose pliers close to the stone. Don't use a dremel or anything powered cuz you will either shorten it too much too fast, or snap the stem and shoot it across the room if it catches on a funny angle (all have happened to me as well).

I had an order on Dec 4th arrive in 2 weeks... I have another one shipped out on Jan 8 and so far 10 days no EMS updates after 'Despatch from sorting center' ... I really hope something updates before CNY

Just get one and wear it for a while... see what little imperfections start to drive you crazy first and mod them in that order AR was the 1st to get to me... lume will be next. I don't care about datewheel font's but german day/date looks cool so that'll be done when I decide to lume/service mine

I also got mine from Tony... he is always 20 bucks cheaper than any other dealer, and he takes PP

Silver... so stainless steel... why not just polish it yourself? It's very easy to do, or to have done by a jeweler

I just wear whatever I feel like on that particular day, being a gen or rep never really bothers me. I keep everything in a safe so I'll usually just grab one and wear it all work-week, then grab something else for the weekend. My workhorse is my gen Sub and I treat it worse then my reps!

I wish they would just put all efforts towards repping a Squadra World Reverso i won't hold my breath
