  1. Come on..... I'm some guy who lives in Canada, who wants to fulfill your octagonal dreams.......... I'm in a really good mood today, as I just sold my Ulysse Nardin Freak, some guy got a wonderful deal on it, and I made some extra cash too.
  2. Yeah, what gives? I was going to send a watch too........ Now provide me with your damn address.
  3. You know what's really funny? It appears that the Post system doesn't insure coins, banknotes and the like for anything over $100 or something like that. It's total bullsh*t, therefore I pay lots of money for registered, and it doesn't arrived. And what did the post office do? Bupkis.
  4. Cmon... You know you want it.........
  5. Awwww....... Ubi beat me to sending Dutchy a Sub.......
  6. And I assume the hamburger is raw?
  7. Ohhhh..... So you DON'T live in Amsterdam now?
  8. If I ever sell my 15300 Royal Oak, I'll give you a special price for it. I guarantee it.
  9. Well, we are a community after all...... It's quite a given we would help each other out. It's not that big of a problem.
  10. That's what I'm saying too.
  11. It's ABSOLUTELY NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS, okay? I collect what I want, and I have my reasons for it. Let's leave it at that.
  12. Sorry to hear your loss too. It's a very unfortunate reality of this new market, where people buy and sell on the net. I have sold many items on eBay, since I am an avid coin collector too, and I've lost expensive packages with Canada Post and FedEx too. I remember ordering a $4900 coin from Germany, and it got lost in the mail, with no compensation. I've sent cash to pay for items too, with expensive registered mail, and Canada Post lost them, without ever paying me a cent except postage. What really pisses me off is that you pay lots of money for tracking, courier to get a piece of mind, and it still gets lost. Regards, from the Royal Oak guy/devious juror..... admin
  13. This thing again.
  14. I have a Patek Philippe Nautilus rep that I wore every other day, stored face up, sideways on crown, and it hasn't gained or lost a single second so far. But it did lose 2 seconds one day, and it gained it after I put it on the crown. Pure luck, I guess?
  15. This watch is terrible. Overpriced for what it is. I tried it on at a dealer in Montreal and Toronto months back and didn't like it one bit. I found it to be a cheap looking, expensive ripoff of the AP Offshore, which is still expensive, but at least has a feel of substance to it.
  16. Lovely, I opened this just as my fiance walked into my home office.
  17. Sorry, but that doesn't matter to me and I don't think it does to the majority of the people in this group buy. I have no intention of fooling a WIS with it anyways, since he/she would spot it before they whipped the caseback opener out already. There's no display back anyways, so there's no point.
  18. That would be lovely Finepics, since I just ordered a cyclops, and hope to get an AR crystal too. Just let me know whenever you're ready for a new run. Hope the 2893 datewheels have the wheels (pun intended) of motion started up.
  19. I'm in for AR coating too.
  20. I'm thinking about taking my GMT and modifying it closest to gen. I just want to list what we would need to do to it: 1) New datewheel 2) Cyclops 3) AR coating 4) ReLume 5) Palp Crown It's just I'm not sure about where to have AR caoting done. Is that it? I'm really looking forward to making this as close to gen, and I hope you guys are too, maybe another group discount?
  21. Please tell EL my account has been limited. It should be working fine in a few days.
  22. Yorkville has gone insane too recently, especially with the bidding on my apartment, which isn't really special. Some Avenue Road apartments are going for the millions now, and Hazelton Lanes nearby is going for $1 million to $10 million for a residence. Toronto is seeing so many luxury residence projects, from the Trump Tower project to the Ritz Carlton project, which I hear will start from $1 million! I was told a reason my apartment is going for so much is because it's quite new, it's about 5 years old, and it's in the most desirable part of Yorkville, and people are bidding high on it because there hasn't been a single space for sale for 2 years. It feels like living in Toronto's Fifth Avenue, but the problem that always bugs me is that there are homeless people perched right beside the entry to the lobby. The current buyer is a buyer from China too, interestingly enough. Vancouver is insane though, I hear that million dollar homes are now common place there.
  23. New cash offer for $510,000 came in at 5pm today. I'm about ready to unload this hot tamale.
  24. Give her a White Gold Grande Complication Royal Oak and she probably would fall over. The thing weighs something like 500 grams. Sorry if I hijacked the thread with my RO rants. I'll shut up now.
