  1. There is no other option for a 3x3,5mm Case tapping tool. But you don't need really a Rolex tapping tool there are also cheaper Tapping tools with right dimensions. For countersink the Case hole you can take the rounded diamant dremel tool It's much better then to countersink with a drill bit. You all know the bottom of the Case hole is really thin and can damage easily but with the right tool you can do it with no damages.
  2. There is no etched Crown. Bk replaced the Glass because the Datemag is too low on the WM9. George told me he will update the Crystal with better Mag. If you need a etched Crown the best way is to order the watch with the build in Crystal and replace the Cyclop. Better way go for a gen Crystal
  3. Great review I told you before this is the best Sub available.
  4. It has 20mm Endlinks @ Laz nice shots
  5. You are so right Lani...... a gen is a gen thats it..... BTW Congrats to this beauty....
  6. Mmhh, maybe a MBW Fake........... Angus sold the them a while back.... Never seen a 1680 engraving on a MBW 1680 Also the Bezelwasher looks weird... Are the Lugholes look from Factory on yours?
  7. You can remove it while polishing your Crystal with a Dremel. Take blue polishing wax
  8. Yep, this is what I want to say Damn my English is so bad, I need to learn much more
  9. Thank so much for your review and effort to make this clear for our comunity. This Topic need to be pinned Thanks again
  10. Maybe some glue or a wrong bent bezelwasher. Pop the bezel of reinstall the bezelwasher and clean the Bezel. Than all back. Notice you must pull down the Bezel to rotate it.
  11. That's the reason why I don't wear a modern Daytona Too much Bling for me. I have an older modern Daytona in my watch box, but it has no wrist time.
  12. This is really a rare watch. Hard to say from the Pics but it looks good to me. Hope you can get it with papers.
  13. That's wrong the cases are similar the 7750 Case is more opened inside to carry the 7750 Movement also the caseback is higher. Both Cases accept Gen Tropic, Tube and Crown and aftermarket Pushers.
  14. Yes buy from BK. He take care of the watches for shure. Mine was directly from WM9 and had some flaws. Luckily I can fix this by myself
  15. To answer your question, both cases are similar in construction The Euromariner has a small gap inside the retaining Ring for a small gasket. This gap is not needed any more after Chris has updated the Crystal with a Clark's one. Casetube is bad on the older Euros I don't know if it's updated. Crown looks nice. Euromariner has a Noondial installed also a Noob datewheel. Bracelet is also from a Noobmariner. The WM9 has no gap inside the retaining Ring that's right. The Dial is better now has SL applied on the markets and Hands. The datewindow is also better. Date wheel is also better. Also the Bezel insert is better on the WM9 Pearl looks really good CG's are better also the Tube, Crown is a bit oversized. The Bracelet is not bad but George updated it know because it needs better shaped SEL's. All in all the WM9 is better in my opinion, the best Sub out of the Box. With some Mods the Euro is also a nice watch and near to the WM9 but You must invest some money and work. You can get the Euro only from Chris. PT has the supreme Sub ( I think it's the WM9 V1) Hope this helps.
  16. On Gen Inserts it can take hours to get the bleach effect.
  17. So after I installed also Cousin's Pushers on some Dw's now I can say it's not really easy to install them. After retapping the Pusher Holes please do not put some force on the Pushers, if you do it you may run in problems with the function of them. Best way to have the right tool to install the base from the pushers. Let the pusher stem include the gaskets inside the pusher. Screw down the pusher like you do while retapping. Screw down and ever way back do this all the time After a while the pusher is completly srcewd down and fit perfectly.
  18. You know I've been allways a vintage guy @Flex Yes make a huge difference Again I thank you so much
  19. Really nice one, I like it a lot
  20. The pushers are from Cousins UK.
  21. Thanks guys, I know there is much more to do. This is not my watch and I took what was available for the watch. Vintage Crowns are damn hard to find this days. I have them installed on my vintages. To bleach take some chlor stuff like clorix or similair.
