  1. Hey Frank, your gasket is broken what I see from the Pics. The small gasket in the retaining Ring a the bigger plastic ring are normally one piece. Maybe you broke it by dissambling. So no plastic Ring that hold the Bezel and an extra gasket for the Crystal just one gasket. Hope you understand what I mean.
  2. First of all a 1460M is not easy to build. The Dial is smaller as on Sub with Date, also the Crystal. You need also a smaller Bezel Insert. I think you can't find a Case with right dimensions. That's the reason why no good Rep exist.
  3. Nice, but heating is also easy and much faster.
  4. here you see the differences - rep vs gen : Could you please Took a picture without gasket from the rep Glass.. BTW the Gasket is too small Looka t the Pics I send you..
  5. Frank you need a gen or aftermarket Gasket to fit the Glass. On the other Euromariner all fits fine I can't understand why not on yours. It looks like the gasket is broken and you have now two pieces ? Maybe there are small differences from factory. But hey looks good.
  6. No offense to you Freddy, but you will tell us you drill non existing Lugholes with a Handdrill in 2 Minutes? Come on Brother Everybody who tried it in the past knows, that it is damn difficult to drill the holes on the outside Lugs. When you look at the Pics you can see that these holes are damn clean and well centered. Believe me that is not an easy Job. So think about it before you post something. Only my 2 Cents.
  7. Fantastic
  8. A college of mine has upgrade to 2.0 today. Some nice inprovements but the Appstore sucks. You must now pay for Apps that you get from the old installer for free. But I will sell my old Iphone and get a new one with 3G while I'm in Europe and Edge is so damn slow.
  9. Can you them pickup without contract in the US? I have the old 8GB.
  10. Why not buy a Vintage GMT and remove the CG's?
  11. Hey Saso, I know what you mean my friend...... BUT as I told you before you will amazed only a short time of your Gen one.... Why? Because it's Gen nothing more to do on it. No hunting for Parts to get it better, Fun and joy If you have something new or special on your Rep... A Gen is amazing i know, but after a while the Fever comes back,Believe me... I told it thousand times " I'm ready with reps" and hey I'm still here.... Now I have more fun on it as before.. I had never met you all without our hobby REPS.. And after the nice GTG I'm thankfull to know you all in Person....
  12. First Rolexex Cases are stamped out from solid 904L Than they where machind like every other Case.. When you can do it why not, with the right CNC Machine you can do a lot.. You can take an WM9 Case or a Eurotimez Case to reproduce it... But I think its expensive to do it..
  13. Also from me Happy Birthday
  14. Count me in for two cyclops Thanks
  15. You funny Americans, in the EU I pay about 1,60 Euros for a liter unleaded Fuel. Count that in Dollar and compare to a Gallon and you know where Fuel is expensive.
  16. For vintage Subs there is only one way. MBW/MBK ones, they are most accurate and they can take Gen Parts. On this ones are also some flaws but not really a problem. Crown position is a bit lower than on gen.
  17. You are right its a bit shallower, but I prefer the new Case why it has Bezel assembly like gen and you can install generic Crystal... But to get a Gen 16800 Dial is an other story hard to get and expensive
  18. Maybe the new MBW Case with Lugholes.. It accepts a generic Glass without edged Crown.... and other Parts... The Noob Case is nice too but you can't change the Glass...
  19. AAAAAAAAAAARGHHHH, you kill me Fantastic project I like it a lot.... I want to build the same one but still waiting for the right Case..
  20. Not really the best setup we took heavy industrial drilling machines. You need to drill precise and the right U/min to get good results. Also really good drillbits. Every hole must countersink as Bobbie describes. This is not easy to do on the outside lugs. But with some technical know how it works.
  21. Yes my friend it works drilled them also at work yesterday I took a Noob Case for testing, but if you want to build a F series with SEL its not the right case. The Lugholes are too deep on the bottom of the case. If you drill higher as it should be the SEL do not fit the case. You can see on the existing holes inside the Lugs what I mean. So a Noob Case is not the first choice for this. But Non SEL will fit Needs some practice to do it right but it works. As we all know Bobby is a nitpicker in those things. He want it perfect and this is good But you must have the right tools to do it right. So now we know it is possible and maybe there are some nice projects in the pipeline. be continued......
  22. Btw there was also a blue Submariner in steel years ago. But this one was build only for the Asian market. It was also a ugly watch
