There are some rules to buy an vintage Rolex. Find a trustfull dealer who sells vintage ones since years. When you buy from normal person, take the watch to an AD to check the watch. Ask Rolex for serialnumber and reference. For Vintage Rolexes there are so much hybrid ones out there, mixed with gen and generic parts redials. A trustfull source will help much. Hello all, you can get the bezel much cheaper when you get a Set aftermarket including Bezel,washer and retaining Ring on the Bay. Just a tip

I had no problems to install a gen Insert on Stephanes Sub. It snaps in like the real deal.

A 16800 Submariner or old style 16610 Believe me prices grow up the next years when the new style Submariner come out... For example I bought my Tudor Sub for 800 DM a view years back now they go up to 2600

This Sub is not available as Gen, but in the future it will be. There is only the whitegold Blue Sub available in the moment. But the Rep looks not so bad, but not my cup of tea.

All is said about the flaws I think. I'm a bit late Good example that high price is not even a good watch Thanks for sharing Steph. Now we are at the point that we can get them more accurate with gen Bezel assembly etc. Curious that it had take so much time to get better Subs. But hey we all know that there are a lot of crappy Subs on the market

I like my iPhone much. Internet and Mail is great. I have also Skype on the Phone fantastic. You all must try Bite SMS, you can send SMS around the world for about 5 Cent. Now its also available for Symbian and Windows based Phones.

not Gen but why not I think to find a gen Comed Dial is nearly impossible, and if you find one the price too high for a Rep.

Never heard of a Dealer who sells Franken Rolexes. But if its true that's interesting.

Cyclops swap is easy, but I would go for a Gen Crystal or good generic.

So maybe for the US, I put the gen Parts on the watches I mod, for this prices But you are right,if you have no source you must pay the gray market price.... But he asked for a fair Price.. Maybe I must think about my price range
