You are right about this.... It's an issue on all newer MBW/MB Subs.... The date wheel is bad printet and on 27 is a huge gap.... Also the datemag is too high it's about 3x You need a better datewhell,maybe a one from cubicworks.... It#s printed like the gen one also the numbers are smaller that can fix the datemag issue..

Dam, CG's trimming is the easier way I want to see the bezel height clearly...On the Pics from Repgeek it loos damm good,better than on the factory pictures... I think i must order one..... I want to measure the bezel dimensions, maybe a gen SD Insert wil fit..... Also the crystal must be smaller than on the Sub Reps

Hi Frank, looks fantastic i think.. You did a great job on this GMT You can find good Tubes and Crowns easily on the Bay.... keep us updated on this project.... For the Lugholes, it's really an adventure when there are no holes in the case... You can only drill from the outside,but this is a damm hard job.... Maybe a good Factory drilling machine and HSSE Cobalt drills will work....

There is a lot of work to do on this one..... When the the pricerange is longer than it's a good base.... After all i love my Frankensub

Some times they come with a ETA2846 from the Dealers.... I think they take the movements they have on stock...

I bought them from BKLM.... He is a nice guy and the Dials come with four feets... two for Asian , two for ETA movement.... Once again thank you BKLM....

Hello Bertie, the Watchmaster Overlay is not agood option for a 1680 Sub, because the mag is to high and the Numbers look faded and blurry... But for a SD they are nice no mag no blurry

Hey nobody says it's a shitty watch.... The case looks damm good, also dial and bracelet etc... It's only the bezel, it's too low and this is visible to eyeryone.... Maybe the manufacture can fix it with a new higher bezel,when the fisrt batch is sold.... I think a lot of member where involed in this project.. we told them how it must look,dimensions of case, bezel etc.. They told they have a gen one to compare. and than they make this visible flaw? This is what bothers me a lot.....

Hello Bertie, there is no gasket needed to install the glass.... The retaining ring sits so strong on the glass and make it watwerproof

Hello Gang, have you all seen Angus Ultimate Seadweller? I think the Bezel is not thick enough,i've compared with Gen one.... By the way when you compare with King's new SD you see what i mean..... KING GEN Man i hate this waiting so long for this one and than this.... Overall the case looks good,also HE Valve,Dial,Glass,Crystal.... The Bezel is off also the Insert is not good... What do you think about it...... Let me know your opinions...

Looks not really new..... Seems to be a TW Seadweller..... Bezel is too low etc.... I think we must wait for the Ultimate....

No No, on this one it's harder to get the retaining ring off.... Believe me.... Took a razorblade to pull it up But be carefull To get it back you need a press to do it right...

So round marking "Rolex" on the caseback is right for a white SD to clear the fact

I think it's a nice one Dial looks good to me,also the CG's and crown...... Lugholles seems to be a little off center.... But all in all a nice GMT... Congrats Stephane
