  1. I'm betting it's from the usual sources for Vietnamese made cases/complete watches.
  2. JJ, According to Skeet and Urul the 6538 & 5510 are the thicker (200m) cased subs w/ 8mm Brevet crown, while the thin case Bond subs are 5508 and 6536 (100m). Beautiful watch! I'd like to see more of this project
  3. Much better choice Vic than the Silix version.
  4. I say go for it Vic! Or maybe vintage with the stainless bezel instead of the acrylic -my wife wears my 6263 on occasion but good luck getting her to hold still for a wrist shot.
  5. That is a treasure DT, enjoy it and thanks for sharing! Yup, it is so hard to photograph a superdome tropic crystal without any reflections
  6. La La La La La!! -I'm not listening. I don't want to hear if a group buy on the Tudor Monte Carlo is doable
  7. DVN, Phong is proprietor of Jewelryandwatch.com, I've purchase a few items through him and they were very smooth transactions. He's a nice guy and has some great products albeit pricey. This will be great if it comes together Ken! I know a lot of members here would jump at a nice snowflake sub.

    Tropic 19

Bertieng, Here is a replacement flat T19 next to a superdome. T39 superdomes have a slightly different curvature to the dome vs. the T19, not to mention they're taller. I once bought a T19 and got a T39 by mistake . I hope that helps.
  9. I'm busting out the little 6263 today.
  10. Very nice work area Marty! Let us know how it goes.
  11. Thanks Rek, Sidecar's have been my drink for years! That's me, a bit obscure when it comes to cocktails I'll have to try the gin some time, thanks for the suggestion.
  12. Interesting PF, a white dial diver -I like it!

    5512 love

Nothing like those old twinlocks, they're so much thinner a crown than triplocks. Great piece Jojo!
  14. Looks like a great GTG, thanks for sharing.
  15. Thanks Vic, I think.... Dluddy actually noticed it -straps never get by you two
  16. Very nice, keep us posted on this project Manuel.
  17. Stephane, reasonable is a realative term- you know you want one
  18. Thanks DL, nice shot BTW! Where's the pink sweater?
  19. A little strap change up for tomorrow on my Monte Carlo as well as a vacation for the bracelets.
  20. Outstanding JAG!!! What a great job on those points.
