  1. That's indeed a solid sum, but they are very sexy
  2. Mmm, eating my own words... Touché MMA, I searched through the list of Luminor Automatics, but must have missed this one. You were right, this is very competitively priced.
  3. The versions at the other dealers are not these latest releases, the cote de Geneve engraving as seen through the caseback of the latest release is an obvious tell. Wheaton, as promised, you put up a great comparative pictorial, the two brothers from different mothers should be enjoyed
  4. On this newly released version or the older models? Might take a look-see...
  5. The hands are absolutely spot on. The dial cutoutsand text are clearly bolder, but the case is spot on. Stunning replication, and definitely tough to distinguish. Excellent work by the factory and Angus on this one.
  6. Contact Howard at westcoasttime (info@westcoasttime.com) and ask for a group discount on a few of them. I grabbed a couple from his eBay store, gen Maratacs are the only way to go. The rest are a waste of time and money.
  7. The dealer's name was very cleverly revealed, I suggest you reread the quoted post
  8. Looks like it melted on his wrist? For those not in the know, Warnie was our most famous spin bowler in the quaint British Empire sport of cricket. He fell from grace and public opinion after he got caught cheating by his wife. His most noticeable recent life achievement was banging Liz Hurley... Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi!
  9. Just got this 24mm Maratac 4-ring in PVD (brushed stainless incoming), fits like a glove and looks very cool on the 111, it's my first NATO-type strap and I see what all the fuss is about. Plus, this sexy little SEAD Ultimate now has more shoes than a shoe store...
  10. Good point, the things this guy does with Seikos is mental, do a search for Yobokies on Google. He does custom work with dials, amazing hands and case mods, PVD etc. Really top work. Plus he will have a good supply of parts.
  11. Bitten by the Curse of the LCD. The same thing has happened to a few (very expensive in some cases) calculators. A new movement swap will be a couple of hundred dollars for parts and labour, it depends on how attached you are to your watch if it has some sentimental value, then I'd restore it to Original condition, otherwise have a ball with it I've never seen a breitling AeroNavitimer
  12. I'd go with a very high quality black matt Gator. You don't want to take anything away from that amazing dial. Let us know what you get!
  13. ...along with a 1 year single use supply of XTREME-BRONZE
  14. I know that asking this is sacrilege, but what model of Daytona is the watch in the pic? It's absolutely gorgeous...
  15. You have an eye for it, just grab some pig skins and practise practise practise. I really like the art too
  16. Better you didn't, as they'd probably be a touch out of timing when zapped by a 7 Tesla magnetic field... Not that you'd know as they would have very permanently embedded themselves in the wall - along with your wrists ) MRIs are great machines. I wish you well mate, funny post about the 'ladies'
  17. Not questioning his fine taste in watches (it IS a funny pic, even on a Rollercoaster he manages to look like Senator Palpatine... hehehe), just his moral character... *SHIVERS*
  18. He is one ugly mofo with a highly questionable moral character. Pope or not, that guy is a criminal.
  19. Thinner deployants and deployant straps are absolutely the way to go. I've worn an OEM croc on deployant and it's a night and day difference with a fat tang strap. Still, there is no hiding the thickness of a 44/47mm Luminor under a cuff... That's why I wear a Pilot Bracelet Breitling for business, and a PAM for pleasure...
  20. Apparently the whole series 312/320/328/329 is finally released. Who has taken the plunge on the 329? The one all the rest were modeled from. Thinking of taking the plunge on a GMT model, but wondering if the datewheel is super sunken. Thoughts would be appreciated!
  21. PM with suggested straps incoming Mr. 123
  22. Bricked iPhones are a pain to fix. I'm still on jailbroken 4.0.1. A friend took my 3GS at a party and jailbroke it using the website www.jailbreakme.com, then installed Cydia, then just gave it back to me. I have no idea how or what e did hahaha this greenpoison looks sweet, if someone will take pity on me' and direct me' to a way to put the latest Greenpoison firmware on my phone, I would be thoroughly indebted
