  1. In the link you provided, There are several different sizes, some 48mm and some 44mm. The 7750 movements in them are all the same. The complications are different for each watch. The 48mm ones are not chronographs and have been out for at least 1 year or more, the 44mm ones (I may be wrong.. ) are more recent which is one of the primary reasons they cost more. Traditionally, chronographs cost more than non, but in this situation, both have 7750 so I think the newness of the watch is the primary reason for the $300+ price. Also consider that Rose Gold versions and versions with more detail (bracelet, case, etc.) will cause the price to be greater. First you have to ask yourself, "what size watch do I want"? and then go from there.. Hope that helps..
  2. Yep... I saw that too.. .I'm yelling 1/2 way down the isle telling my wife.. Look!! He's wearing a Panerai! People behind me asks ... ?? what's a Panerai ?? lol... 3. This same thing happened on another thread where I posted an image... it was one of those funny humor threads that... went over like a lead balloon without pictures.. Dont know why you cannot see it.
  4. Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm sure any dealer can get them, there in the GZ watch market. (I did not get it from a dealer on the forums....so...)

  8. Recently purchased this TAG Link 200m MOP for my wife. Has an eta 2824 and a pretty MOP dial. The links are a [censored] though, (had help from crick) Anyway,, been a couple months so figured I would finally take some pictures of it seeing that it seems someone is always looking for a womens watch. This watch is slightly over sized for most women, it comes in at (I'm guessing) 36-38mm Wife seldom wears it,, probably will sell it soon and talk her into a rolex mop dial or a different cartier (she has the roadster). Anyway,, ,here is the eyecandy.
  9. Is it adobe flash? I do not know if RWG will let you embed flash. I am really out of my element with this stuff.. cant help..
  10. Looking good! Happy to see you giving it a shot..
  11. Every time I went to purchase a new Breitling Chrono Avenger I began asking myself.. "quantity of quality" ? I trade in my vehicles every couple years.. I like new things.... Gen purchases (although probable) are not the answer for me because of the reason listed above..
  12. When my clicker doesnt work anymore I just add new batteries.
  13. jun has an easy solution.. the dial is attached to the movement. The movement is held into place by little metal tabs, usually 2 maybe 3 .. loosening these (not a lot) and slightly twisting the movement in the direction you need for the correction should do it. If you loosen them up to far and it shifts the tabs to a point where they are not holding the movement inside the case, you will have to get them reinserted into the grooves of the case otherwise your movement/dial will flop from side to side and be more uneven than it is now. On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being difficult) this job is a 2-3.. Be sure to look at the 3, 6 & 9 and see if they line up. It may be that the spot you are looking at on the dial was simply printed in an incorrect spot, meaning that you may take the time to adjust one area only to find that another area is off as a result.
  14. I'll throw in my contribution... the orange UPO As you can tell, this is one of my favorite reps of all time!
  15. fyi, not trying to promote RWI here but wanted to mention (as many have not been there in a while) I added a download section for many parts & data sheets of ETA Movements that are free to download if you are a vip. Anytime you guys need something like that,, pop over there and grab what you need... just happy to share
  16. This will be a slow developer.. lots of plans in July for people... we will probably shoot for mid or end of August
  17. @Bazz, That is one hell of a good photo Bazz... It's OUT OF THIS WORLD!
  18. Thanks for the compliments guys.. If I had to pick just 1 item that is a must have, that would be a little tripod... you cannot live without it IMO. The settings you make to your camera to pull in all the light also make it subject to blurring even with the steadiest of hands. Then.. you think it looks good in the 2.5 LCD on the camera and then you put it on your computer.. and ... well... not so great..lol... I've been pretty happy with my Sony DSC-H7. You can get some really good deals on it if you shop around. It has a large menu with tons of options. Click on the image to read the expert review on the camera.
  19. Nothing says Happy 4th of July America like Chinese fireworks or large French Statues! Off to eat Mexican food at a my nieces wedding.
  20. I went to my local shopping mall. I walked into JC Penny after trying 5 other jewelry shops and being turned down... I asked the lady at the counter if she had 2 that she could spare, I explained that I was doing photography for a write up on the quality of watches today and that I was a blogger on the internet and it is a hobby of mine. She gave me 2 and told me to come back anytime as they have so many.. they have to throw them away after a couple months.
  21. I think newer members are sometimes reluctant to post photos of their replicas because of the extremely high quality of other members photos that are posted in wrist checks and other show off areas. I am not great with a camera, I do not know Photoshop (PS) and overall, my photo skills suck. I was able to drastically improve the way my photos looked by simply getting familiar with my camera a little bit. Like most men, we break open the box to our new camera (or receiver, or computer, or whatever else) and we pitch the owners manual in the junk drawer and start snapping pictures on the Automatic setting. Fight the trend fellas, go brush off that owners manual and begin to understand how your camera works! What do these crazy settings mean, what do they do, what does it look like after you change the settings.. you have to experiment! Have some fun!! Ok, I still know squat about my camera, but I now know a little more to get me by until I am more patient and not wanting to do yard work! lol Go and get yourself a small light tent from Walmart or eBay. My wife surprised me with my light tent that she bought from Walmart. It came with 2 lights and a tripod.. Oh yeah... You MUST have a tripod. Just get yourself a little one that can sit on the table. They are 4-6 inches tall. People will tell you that you dont have to buy a light tent.. that is true, I just found it a lot easier.. that's all.. Pugwash has some tutorials on this stuff which is great. I wont even touch polarized lenses and photoshop or gimp use.. I dont have a clue.. My point is to encourage people to have some fun, dont get bogged down trying to doctor up your photos until you can simply get a photo to work with,, then start looking at the software to make them By-Tor'ish.. This is really easy, I promise you will improve the look of your photos 500% with just a couple simple steps, plus... You will have a blast doing it! Here is my setup.. It's pretty simple,, a couple lamps that I purchased on clearance from Office Depot. I was taking photo's of this: Good Luck... hope to see some new participants in wrist shots and the "My Collection" area..
  22. Wearing this to a wedding today..
