Dude, Your crystal might be scratched....... maybe....... Yeah.. most likely.... it's got a small crack or scratch in it. Sorry to hear about your loss, not good at all. Takes the excitement out of it.

First , I will argue till the cows come home that my Stainless Steel HBB (as appears in my signature) , there is nothing "Lite" about it, and it has a screw down crown.. Also nice AR, 7750 28,800, scented strap. I can understand a non AR, non 28,800, non scented strap being a "lite"... but all of that was to say that indeed,, my stainless steel screw down crown HBB is wider and my tool does not fit it, it does fit my push down crown one (which it sounds like you have) , so my screw driver should fit yours. I have received your info via pm, I'll mail it out tomorrow (I'm at work). I'll send it out priority mail to get it to you fast.

IWC Cousteau Diver 2007 Review by Daytona4me
Daytona4me replied to Daytona4me's topic in The IWC Area
The difference in lume is kind of like the difference in Noctiluminova vs. Superluminova from RC Tritech... Noctiluminova seems a tad brighter during the 1st minute after exposure but fades faster than Superluminova (which is the far superior product imo). For the record, I dont think there is any comparison between Noctiluminova & Superluminova.. Superluminova is FAR better. I think the 07 shines a little brighter for a moment but faded quicker than my 06. -
I thought I had posted this here but I was mistaken. Sorry for the late posting. I have sold my 2006 Cousteau to purchase this Cousteau 2007. I enjoy a blue/orange combo so this model appealed to me a great deal. The movement in this is an Asian 7750 automatic which beats at 28,800bph. It has a Day / Date complication and has working chronographs. The crystal has a nice ar coating and mine has no fingerprints, scratches or dust on it. The one area that I do not think the Cousteau gets a lot of credit for is the case. This case is not your traditional casing, it is simply amazing that they nailed this case and made it perfect. If you look at the case you will see the precision measuring where the crystal meets the case and how there is no unevenness. You should also notice that this is a brushed stainless case but look below where the crystal meets the case, you will find that there is a polished ring (for lack of a better description), I point this out only to continue drawing attention to this amazing case. The crown is nicely etched whereas you find many replicas where the crown is not very defined with it's etching, this is not the case with this IWC! The pushers do not feel cheap and provide a nice solid feeling when pushing. It has a nice smooth feeling when depressed as well as it's return back to it's original position. The chronographs reset to their correction position without fail. When I wear this watch it feels like I found a big round stone and put straps on it and threw it on my arm. The 06 and this 07 version has always felt "slightly" awkward on my wrist. I think it is a combination of a small diameter strap on this 44mm-45mm watch. This strap is a hard rubber strap, one that is not really flexible and will hold up for a long time. I had noticed that the rubber strap on my 06 began to turn a lighter color the more I wore it and it aged. I think this is natural with this kind of rubber strap and something that is unavoidable. I would be very careful to treat the rubber with anything like a lubricant or moisturizer as it may break down the rubber causing pits in it and a waxy sticky feeling. The detail that went into this watch is insane. The caseback is light years ahead of the caseback on the 06 version. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate this replica a 9 with it's only negatives being the width and toughness of it's strap. With it's current price with most dealers being around the $300 mark I would rate this a great purchase based on it's high quality and medium to medium/high price. I hope you have enjoyed my review of my IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Cousteau Diver 2007. Please enjoy a couple more pictures of this fine watch.

My plan with Verizon is set to expire in Sept. or Oct. this year. I do plan to switch to AT&T so I can get this phone so long as I can get a similar plan as what I have now (5 phones) and not break the bank every month.

WOW, I think I'd hang it up if I were this guy! I can hear the conversation now... "We want to trade this guy.... we'd like...hmm... do you have any gum? How about marbles? Well..... Ok... we already have a lot of batts but I'm sure we will need more by the end of this decade... go ahead and ship him over".

So.. this is my son at his Elementary school fun night. He is only 5 but man.. he can dance! lol Maybe this is something only the parent can find funny... I dont know... but I figured if it made me laugh it might make you chuckle... so what the hell.. it's worth posting. This kid supplies us with many gut busting laughs. He is extremely witty for his age and is his classes comedian. He barely knows his colors but has all of the girls phone numbers memorized. He will be a handful (more so than now) when he gets older I fear. Please enjoy...

roflmao, That craigslist add is the best I've ever seen! Your right... dont see that where I live. I would probably see one in the lost and found for "Lost Crack Pipe" or something. Thanks for sharing

I tried something similar, except was in the back yard, off the roof and I was wearing a Timex. Sorry.. no youtube. -
I have found that many true "watchmakers" or at least a person largely more advanced than the average mall kiosk worker has a similar attitude then that of a computer repair technician. While this may seem stereotypical I can promise you... well.. it probably is... but there is a great degree of truth behind it. What you have in both situations are people who know a great deal more about their craft or art than the lay, and because your electronic or wrist life depends on their skill, you WILL worship the ground they walk on and you will be reminded how important they are and how little you know, by them, repeatedly. Bet you wish you ordered your pin pusher a little earlier! lol

ok,, maybe.. just maybe... someone has not really thought this one through completely... Try this,, Hold the dial side of your watch to your ear.. and then drive or walk around... I promise.... I PROMISE!! People will begin to wonder if you had forgotten to put on your helmet today and missed the short bus because you have the back side of your hand firmly pressed against your cheek and you are trying to hear the voices coming out of your watch! As usual.... if you buy it... WE MUST HAVE PICTURES OF YOU WALKING AROUND WITH YOUR WRIST UP TO YOU EAR AND DROOLING FOR EFFECTS PURPOSES.

What's on your radar this spring / summer?
Daytona4me replied to By-Tor's topic in General Discussion
I have a Gen Breitling Avenger Chrono Titanium on my radar. It is the only thing I'll wet my pants to lately. -
I could not agree with you more. I have been carrying my .45acp Glock for 10 years and have a similar story except I was robbed at gun point by a punk kid and his .22 . Long story short, I read him well, I knew he wouldnt do anything, I asked him if I could show him my gun so he would understand why I wont give him my money, I explained that he would shoot me.. which would sting and really [censored] me off, and I would shoot him and he would die. It all worked out in the end. I doubt I would ever do something that stupid again.. and I am thankful that I have never had to use it any other time. I do however have balls of steel when I carry it... also a little more road rage, etc... it's all good.. LOL.. Glad you were able to stop them, assholes like that deserve "the business end" of a Texas Lead Enema!

PM sent to you to clear some things up.

Got Jos Nana & trustywatchguy looking at this thread right now.. Either I stirred the pot on something sensitive or I'm being an [censored] and not realizing it. Either way.. sorry if anyone was offended or mislead.
