  1. so by now you know it's quality, but more importantly, it's VERY comfortable.
  2. I know he was switching over to be able to accept credit cards maybe that has something to do with it.
  3. I ordered a Ultimate Asian PO from Andrew (my fourth), and the second hand stops here and there through out the day for no apparent reason. It does not appear to be hanging on the minute hand or anything, and a tap on the crystal seems to set it right. This was already a replacement watch for one with a busted crown, and Andrew told me to try to find someone to repair it, but the only guy I found that would work on it said it would cost $100.00 to service a $128.00 Watch. Any suggestions on how to fix this myself? Should I just push Andrew to replace it yet again? I'd appreciated your input... Bryan
  4. I could not agree more about the CG and CG Lever. The one on my 186 is perfect as it look exactly like the ones in the gen photo you provided. Too bad they went cheap on this feature. It looks just like the CG & CGL on the cheapo 21j asian auto versions.
  5. find someone that wants to trade the watch you want for the one you have.
  6. crown guard and crown guard lever look like the crappy ones on the 21j models. This kills the look for me. My 186 Arktos looks way better than this, even with it's crappy cyclops and date font.
  7. Aren't Emporio Armani watches manufactured for them by Fossil? I am not sure what I'd exchange it for. If you mean taking it back to the store, I'd shoot for a nice Seiko or use it as a down payment on a nicer watch.
  8. Send that crap back!!! My first three from Andrew were perfect, but the 4th one had a busted crown. From all the recent posts, it looks like they have just started slopping these damn things together with no regard for whether or not it works. DEALERS can you please address this with your factories / suppliers??? It is starting to look like getting a working Ult PO is becoming the exception instead of the rule.
  9. I was in the exact same, I mean exact same pickle as you. I sold it, and now regret it and am about to buy another. Too good to let go.
  10. Also, after putting mine under the loop, it appears as though you have a large gap between the bezel insert and the crystal and between the bezel insert and the outer edge of the bezel.
  11. I don't mean to come off as SO green, but I am new to Brietlings, so please indulge me..... I am assuming that is a gen due to the build quality and the nature of the complications....right?
  12. I have all 3 now...Black & White asian ultimate, 2006 dial swiss ultimate, and asian ultimate pumpkin, and they ALL have exactly the same case build, pearl included, and they are all on par with the IWC Inge as far as quality goes. Based on your pearl pic, I'd send it back because you clearly got screwed.
  13. my boss is the same way; I watched him kill a bumchof shitty citizen and fossil watches, so I broke down and got him a cheapo 124 from Joshua about 6 months ago. Anybody know what causes this?
  14. I've read in other threads and other boards that they are manufactured totally differently.
  15. @ 2sweetau, The sweeps are identical, and I just posted how I took both of them in multiple dips back and forth between a cold pool and hot tub, both of which are salt water, and both watches are water tight, keeping time, and looking good.
  16. My buddy and I wore my asian and swiss PO's to the gym tonight, and after our workout, hit the hot tub and pool. Both are Salt Water, and the pool is very cold and the hot tub is 105 degrees. Well, we went back and forth pool to hot tub and on and on probably 5 times over the course of an hour. That was 4 hours ago, and they are both tight as a drum and dry as a bone. Both are also keep damn accurate time. I only gained a minute over the period of 4 weeks. By the way, Andrew has been a dream to deal with. Cheers! Bryan
  17. well if it's gen and the guy sold it for that, he's a total assjacket. Probably an internet saavy crackhead looking to score a rock. damn shame.
  18. Squeaker, I didn't catch the part about the inge in your pm to me today. Is there anythign wrong with the Inge that you'd cannabalize it like that? B
  19. You need a bracelet pin tool, a pair of pliars, and a strong arm. Those little buggers are in there tight. Also, watch that you do it over a tray as there are small metal sleeves in the "midlink" part of the links.
  20. I cranked both of mine down with a pair of pliars and a buffer to prevent scratching. I mean, I didn't go crazy on it and was very careful, but you cannot losen it by hand now.
  21. Yeah, the rotor on the asian is loud like a 7750, but it doesn't bother me.
  22. uh yeah, and I always disrobe, oil up, and put on a welding helmet before sitting down to my sit-and-spin work bench to use a big rubber [censored] to tap my crystals in. I can't believe you guys would question such masterful techniques. We all a debt of grattitude to FLB for sharing his wisdom.
