  1. well then I must accept that I am the unluckiest F*** on the forum and set about the business of having Rob install a gen crown and tube upon his return from holiday.
  2. I have 1 ultimate and 3 ultimate lite PO's (well 2, I gave one away). One of my crowns has stripped and the other two are showing the same signs. Anyone else having this happen. Seems like you have to screw them down less and less until finally, they just go "click" and then they're stripped.
  3. HEY!!! You just used "n***er" and "guy" within 7 words of each other; technically, you COULD be brought up on charges.
  4. Ingenieur or Steelfish....have both & they are the best watches made to date. If you are impressed by the quailty of the ult po, you won't be after you own these two.
  5. The best album ever, and it got very little recognition:
  6. Hmm....well I want to be a dentist....we should hang out.
  7. Bill, I really "fookin" hate cliffhangers; you've gotta tell me how this ended as it reminds me of the [censored] pharmacists I dealt with after my wife had our first son. Not cesarian, but It's still mind-numbingly frustrating dealing with these f'in retail robots. Let's hear how it ended. Bryan
  8. I think anyone is welcome to pay what they want for something for sell, and sell something they have for whatever someone is willing to pay. I would personally be happy to pay a premium for a watch with servicing, waterproofing and mods, simply because I am willing to pay for the convenience of buying the finished product and having it on my wrist and not having to ship it here and there and risk shipping or customs loss, and not having to wait to get my watch back. Think what you will, but if someone is willing to buy something at a price THEY deem fair, then it really doesn't matter what anyone outside that transaction thinks.
  9. Haha! Yeah, like a ride across the top of a display case....or through it. THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!!!
  10. I only buy the best reps based on forum feedback, and i have taken them all to AD's and gotten compliments on them, under the assumption there were real. 2 things. Most people that work at AD's despite the AD's best efforts to train them don't know half as much as your average member here knows. Most of them are just sales people trying to make a buck, so they would not likely call you out if they knew, since they are in perpetual ass kissing mode and are blinded by the dollar signs of trying to sell you something. The other thing is I am a big enough guy that I don't think they'd consider threatening me a viable option.
  11. This is the best movie I have ever seen PERIOD. BTW, has anyone else heard about this movie being banned in Iran....I have heard this from friends, but not seen anything concrete....anyone?
  12. Thanks for all the replies; pm to you Rob. Thx.
  13. Guys, This one is my baby as it was my first PO, and I it is a near perfect specimen. Over the last few weeks, I've noticed the process of screwing the crown in getting shorter and shorter, and now, today, it simply will not screw in anymore. Is it even possible to have this repaired? Anyone? Bryan
  14. Hell, I'd get one just to have it so long as it didn't have that [censored] crown guard the new submersible's all seem to have.
  15. Why are all your straps on upside down?
  16. that's funny. My wife is so square that last year, I had to tell her what that word meant. Either that, or she is a major [censored] and was just dumbing it up to hide her sordid past.
  17. that's not a 252; it's a 186 with number 252/500 strap aside, the watch pictured is genuine....I've compared it now to 20 or so gen pics and nothing is off I cannot speak for the strap.
  18. 100% real deal or someone has come out with a TRUE 1:1 and we've managed to not catch wind of it. Look at the date cyclops...too clean of a line to be fake and smaller than my rep 186's cyclop, crown and crown guard are spot on. Cardinal markers have the correct N and don't appear to be raised as much as the rep. Caseback is correct. GMT hand is of correct size. Also currect 186 rep comes with an incorrect 252 Northpole caseback. My rep 186 looks uber nice despite the flaws. This has GOT to be gen.
  19. Hmmmm....I may have some travel plans then.....do you know if they have a quarantine period on dead dogs shipped into the country? <i am kidding, of course> :yucky:
  20. Devedander, Even though you attempted to invalidate my response, based on stipulations that were not included before the guessing began, I want to show you there are no hard feelings by sharing my love of Ninja's with you. Check out my favorite site on the net (Besides RWG): http://www.realultimatepower.net/index4.htm Regards, B
  21. There were a couple in malls here in Austin, that went unchecked for a long time, but eventually got shut down and charged.
  22. I am in Texas so my law is the government can kiss my ass and they can have my watches when they pry them from my cold dead fingers.
  23. I have never seen a ninja movie where Ninja's covered their eyes, as a matter of fact, that is usually the only part that is not covered. Since the stipluation of no eye reflection was not stipulated, and since it involves no pirate to pirate funny business, I feel that you should be compelled to concede that my solution is valid, and more than likely much simpler than whatever solution was originally intended.
  24. Well, it seems simple. Were I a Harvard-educated pirate, when I leaned over to whisper the color of my hat to my ninja captor, I'd look him in the eye, and see my reflection, thus revealing the color of the hat, which is exactly what I'd whisper to him.
