Funny thing about this photo. If you look closely at the dial, the final "A" in Daytona seems to curve in too close to the subdial. I received this identical dial from MQ and returned it because it looks crooked.
I'm going to go home and flip through my Daytona book. This is interesting...
Unfortunately, I purchased this case last year from a fellow member here. I've been gathering the parts!!!! No way to deal with DW at the moment.
Interesting. Will he need the movement? I'm not crazy about sending my parts back to Asia!!
I had hoped to complete my 6239 build with Newman exotic dial. Unfortunately, my DW 6239 case needs some work to accept a V72. To be clear, this was a v72 case and not a 7750 case.
The $80000 question is , who can do this work now that The Zigmeister has retired?
I would hate to get into another Phong case here. I was really hoping the "cheaper" DW would do the trick.
Thanks for any assistance...
I am thinking of picking this hobby up. Anyone have any intro courses, music sheets, etc... Any decent source of info? The net is full of videos, etc but want to learn to play correctly.
Thanks
So, i took a look under the hood. It looks like my rotor is just spinning freely. I turned it clockwise a few times and then it basically unspun itself.
i have a swiss 2836 where the watch functions perfectly when wound. However, it does not auto-wind and loses its charge after about 2 days. Is this an easy fix? Could something be lose in there?
Thanks
