The SD is and always has been my favorite watch. I'm certain V3 of the rep will be awesome. The first batch will probably be a modified 116610.
Although i loved the DSSD, it was too big. The SD 4000 is perfect and modern.
I wonder if you can buy a black/blue SS and swap out for Pepsi insert? I am sure they won't be easy to source but not impossible.
Just like the Smurf can be "frankened" with a black or green ceramic sub with a new dial and insert!
Looks like the Mayer Dial Daytona is in question based on this article which refers to a forum discussion on VRF.

Here is Mayer's post in 2007.

I wonder if one of the watches in question is the famous Mayer Dial Daytona...
It goes to show you that you can never be 100% sure with vintage.
I just saw that Eric at VRF posted a "Do not discuss this issue" post. No one else wants to get sued I guess.
The crown on one of my watches is a bit "wobbly" There is no other word to describe this. When I pull the crown it's loose. By that, I mean it has some give up and down (I'm pulling the crown out left to right). Also, when I change the dates, there's also some "looseness" in the crown as I am doing this.
Watch keeps perfect time. Just curious what this issue suggests.
Thanks for any input.
My guess is that he himself has a large collection of canal street reps and finding "c" list celebs wearing obvious fakes makes him feel "better" about his canal street purchases.
In Canada we used to have limits up until last year. Now we have access to unlimited plans for a premium, obviously.
Up until last year, I was limited to 100GB per month so at month-end, I would actually have to throttle down.
With more and more people using services like Netflix and HuluPls, I'm curious as to what some of you are experiencing in terms of monthly usage from your ISP.
What's your average usage?
I'm about 300GB/month
