Interesting. I am surprised about the 85% who purchase through authorized dealers when better deals can be had from trusted grey dealers online.
We should commission a survey for the rep world. I am sure impulse buying would be significantly higher!!!
Thanks for the kind words and words of encouragement!
Freddy, yes, I say white but mean Silver.
I'm hoping nothing comes up for at least 6 months as I am really breaking the bank these days on this hobby. The problem with this hobby is that it really is a drug... always thinking of the next fix.
Help a brotha out - do not offer me any gen Daytona Silver dial.
But if you have one, please let me know.
I have been the owner of this beautiful vintage piece for some time. It was an incredible build by weisn089 - all gen except for the Phong case and pushers.
My original goal was always to have a white dial brother to this beauty. I almost pulled the trigger when Vlydog put up his beautiful and equally impressive 6263 last year. I still regret not pulling the trigger.
Last week, I was fortunate to pick up Polexpete's beautiful 6265 Phong Daytona. Once i source a gen dial and hands, it will also be all gen except for Phong case and pushers. I have a nice black gen bezel waiting in the drawer...
The hunt begins for a gen white dial. That will break the bank for sure. But it will scratch the itch I've been having for awhile.
Introducing, my V72 twins.
My apologies. I hit create and Tapatalk crashed. I hit it again. I don't know how I got 4 sales threads! If someone can delete 3 of them, that would be great.
they are hyping them up and will all be placed in a safe. In 10 years, the price will have gone up by 50%. All the regulars at VRF will get 1 of the special edition 60 pieces and will be resold to the "nouveau rich" who happen to drool over them.
That Archie dude was hilarious. I think he suspects something is not right with the collection in terms of gen vs rep but he seems to resist calling him out. Too concerned with him paying full retail!
It's a beauty for sure. However, isn't the blue flat on the SubC. This appears to be a SS fantasy blue model. Still very nice. I onced owned a shark and converted it to this very model.
Enjoy
