  1. Ahh.. I misunderstood the unmodified part... sorry Deve However it's still true that the newer Asian 7750 have different hand sizes than the Valjoux 775-.. so watch out for that
  2. I'm in for a Ti CG for 177H and sending you an email NOW
  3. I think Sam's is a Gen... So yes, it comes with pins on the bracelet Anyway, the red font on blue sinks my boat ... But that caseback is awesome.. These new gens should have AR unlike the old model which does not
  4. Remember that the hand hole sizes are different for the new Asian 7750s with a Valjoux 7750..( There was a The Zigmeister post about that too...) Sooo it will be the ripe time to source that gen hands that you always want. It also depends on the model.. the 7750s that I know of have running seconds at 9 (not at 6)
  5. AHA! So you're to blame for taking Ubi's Breitling, r11co!??!?! (pulls out tommy gun...)

  11. Any suggestions, please PM me. I am taking kenberg's word Thank you
  12. Well said. One word that sums it all, including the spending that comes with it
  13. Are spots on AR coatings normal? Anyone else experiencing this?
  14. WOW! That is good prices! Hmmm.. wonder if the holes are large enough to fit a panny buckle catch..
  15. The replicas work.. since you're looking for an 111h, I am assuming you are looking for mechanical replicas? These mechanical watches follow the same rule of any mechanical contraption (including genuine watches too): they have mechanical parts that will be subject to wear and tear. In the case of replicas, the Quality Control is not very good, so the 'engine' so to speak, will be sometimes dirty, sometimes clean, sometimes lubed, sometimes dry.. All these questions are not hard, but can be found if you frequent the forums for, well, say 3 days and you invest time in researching around it; your questions have been asked frequently by other forum members in the past. I was once a newbie too, and still am a newbie in many areas, but do take your time and slowly digest the information this site has to offer. Cheers and welcome!
  16. I second that. I am still reading and re-reading even now.. It's funny how once-read posts have new content and meaning once one's knowledge on this subject increases Welcome!
  17. Welcome!! Enjoy your stay here Keep track of your watch spending budget my friend--cuz you will see tons of temptations here As for the Dial transplant question, would any of the other members provide information re: this? I never attempted this as well.
  18. http://www.gnomonwatches.com/Archimede.htm ..is where I usually look for them. The big pilots are nice; they are called the "poor man's IWC" for a reason While you're there, check out the Damasko watches too.. these are also awesome IMHO
