Please keep the current layout (as it appears today - Thursday). It loads faster than the 'new' skins did & removal of those useless sidebars leaves more space for content (& I no longer have to horizontally scroll every page to read everything).
Same experience from 3 PCs, each running a different OS & the latest versions of multiple browsers (Firefox, IE & Opera).
Since the delays are page-dependent (& only occur on RWG), I doubt it they are related to my connections.
However, prior to the upgrade, the slowness was mostly confined to the time it took to open/refresh the main index pages, while posting was relatively quick. But, now, for the past 2 days, just the opposite seems to be the case - index pages open within 10 or so seconds, but it is taking upwards of 30 seconds before a full reply page opens.
My usual for Wednesday
I just returned my new Canon SX10 IS (not happy with the noise and chromatic issues) and awaiting a Lumix LX3 (ETA early next week). So I will be unable to post anything new until then (assuming the Lumix outputs something better than the Canon did).
You have 2 options - replace the hand with a secure 1 or repair the existing hand. Repair can be done either with a staking set or by cementing the hand/tube joint with a small dab of epoxy

Outstanding watch.
With the base cost of a gen movement & dial, I have to wonder, though, if you could have purchased a gen 1680 for not much more than you spent to build this franken? Of course, there is always the challenge/enjoyment of building it yourself, but I always question the value of building a franken that costs almost as much as the gen.
But that is a personal decision & the watch is a stunner. Well done.
Nice piece, AMK.
I was wearing this
But after reading about another member's near disastrous experience with his chs GMTIIC, I decided to swap over to mine in solidarity
The amazing thing is that I actually hung around to read the entire story.
Glad to hear your baby's chs movement did not suffer any permanent damage. That would be tragic.
Even with a hurricane at my back, your bike looks ALOT faster than my vintage metal. But what is wrong with your sight (though I guess it is probably difficult to see anything when cruising at hyper-warp speeds)?
I always keep the shiny side up.
Once again, I find myself swimming against the current of prevailing opinion. I have always thought the modern Daytona is, if anything, on the large side, at least for my 7" wrist
But, to be fair, I sold my Pams long before the big watch fad caught on in the early 00s, because, on my wrist, I thought they looked like the watch equivalent of these
