  1. When you asked me earlier....there was something I forgot to tell you about Jmb
  2. Hey Cj! That's coming along really nice, you do very good work! Glad I'm not on your list of bad influences!
  3. The Suppa shark mesh does come in an adjustable version, I have one. Not sure about a tapered version though. Look for a Canadian seller on Ebay after searching for "shark mesh"
  4. Me too! My father flew to Germany every other year and bought a BMW to tour Europe for several months. He did this the last decade of his life. He always took many pictures and shared lots of great stories. Your blog reminds me of him and those times. Thanks for posting that!
  5. rockin my GMT with gen jubilee while doin yardwork
  6. Interesting, that's the best 5517 dial I have seen...is it a gen? Also has a regular insert?
  7. It's more expensive? Just kidding, I haven't seen that one before but it looks the same or very similar.....are the ends rounded?
  8. As far as springbar tools, there is a difference.. I bought a few different cheap ones in different styles off the bay with ok luck Then I bought one from Ofrei that made all the difference! Ofrei sells a Bergeon made.. but branded Ofrei tool for half the price, and it is so much better than the cheaper ebay tools. Really no comparison..the tip is tiny and made of really hard steel, bands just pop off easy with no scratches! I also have a separate swiss pin pusher tool I like.
  9. You will not be disappointed Be sure to send him some 2mm springbars and the bracelet you want to wear so it can be modded
  10. My 60's Seamaster.... soon to turn into a Seamaster sm300
  11. Here is my 5512 right after lug holes were drilled and chamfered, gen crown and tube installed. Work done by Jmb
  12. That band also comes with PVD hardware. I have said band on the way!
  13. Not bad at all! I wish I had your skills!
  14. Freddy, I meant to ask about the Yuki bracelet's actual rivets. Are they round topped or sunkin with a dent/hole in them like this gen from '67? my cheaper eBay has round topped rivets and my vintage milgauss one that is being sized has dent/holes. The jeweler told me that the replacement rivets will be round.
  15. Will do Freddy! I just happened to have the bracelet on me when I picked up my gen 6251H jubilee that he repaired for me. His plastic box had a ton of different lengths and he used tweezers laying them out next to my bracelet checking sizes. The box looked to be a comercial labled assortment. I'll get that info next week when I pick it up and take pics.
  16. I thought it was confirmed that it did fit in Josh's new 5512/5513? See Nick1972's post in this thread
  17. Thanks Freddy, I have two rivets, a cheap generic eBay one that actually has screws, and a new one that came with my vintage milgauss. Since I posted the above, I took my new unsized one to a nearby jeweler and he had the rivets to do it. I won't get it back for a week but he's done work for me before and is very good. As for the single MBW rivet bracelet that I handled...I agree with you. ETA: The jeweler told me the rivets are the same ones he uses for watch bracelet clasps..so he was very familar with the operation..he showed me an assortment in a box he had.
  18. Freddy, how do you size the Yuki rivet?
  19. Ok....I was kidding. This what I really have on today
