Not sure if that watch will take gen parts, probably not. You just missed an MBW version of this that went for a little more at 550$ on RG. It had some mods and also had the thicker wrapped gold on the bracelet.

I think that's a myth, or related to the wearer. I've been wearing Rolex watches daily for the last four years. I wear both reps and a couple gens, from subs to explorers. I have close contact with over a hundred people from many walks of life every day and that includes the five or six people I work with.....not one time has a single person asked that. I have had many compliments and sometimes questions as to what model.... Maybe if your in high school and wearing a thirty thousand dollar Daytona while eating a sack lunch....

You know those cheesy 60's bracelets like speidel that flexed? Rolex made versions of the rivets that did that. I have one and do not reccomend them. They pinch the hairs on your arm. Ouch!

Thanks for posting that Andy, but there clearly are old style original MBW 5513's, and now we seem to get a newer version that as Frank says are not the same and need more case work. Where are the originals? Not made anymore? Are the Nah-Piek sellers selling something from a different factory? Can anyone communicate with those guys well enough to find the answers? I have three old style MBW's, two 5513 cases and one 1665. I got lucky and found them on the used market as case sets (two with High's help), but have never seen the complete watches for sale. I would love to find two more to transfer a couple of my Tudor builds in josh cases to MBW.

Looks really good! Always amazed at not only your skill and ingenuity, but the speed at which you bring these things forward! I was thinking custom auto/motorcycle parts for the red tube too.
