  1. Great! Keep me posted!
  2. They sell packages of gen spec screws on ebay. They are supposed to be gaurenteed to fit.
  3. The only place I've seen gen Rolex spring bars so far is The Vintage Market on VRF. Dr B sells them from time to time. They are not cheap, I don't recall daytona prices but sub springbars are around 60$ a pair. I don't know if it's true, but I've read a few times Rolex AD's won't sell them loose unless you have a watch to show them.
  4. Trip of a lifetime! Thanks for posting these
  5. I think about all you can do is put a gen crown/tube and insert in it. You could of course put a gen dial in, but it would depend how much $ you want to spend. You could drill lugholes and make it a triple six.
  6. Thanks Highoey My best ones wouldn't have happened without your involvement
  7. Like Alligoat says... a 5513 would be my first choice. You can get pretty accurate with a good case like an MBW. Somehow I got the feeling OP wanted something modern? Sgtguk: your watch is awesome! I hadn't seen that one!
  8. Yeah....you know a lot more than me...but that's a smokin dial!
  9. You definitely need a GMT...also consider Tudor
  10. If your talking about a modern 14060 sapphire no date, as mentioned.....there are no good ones at the dealers. But you can build a pretty nice and wearable no date. This was a 16610 swiss noob. One of the first reps I bought. Talented member Jmb has some no date dials and he came up with my watch. He drilled lugholes, installed 14060 dial, gen crown and insert. The 14060 is actually a different size than the 16610, but most people wouldn't notice it.
  11. You have mad photo skills! Nice set of watches
  12. Thanks again M! Thanks! I don't know, it's an eta 2846 and Jmb sourced them. I really like these hands. They're a tad whiter than the dial plots, but something about them looks different.
  13. Thanks Z! What movement are you using? The one that came with the explorer?
  14. and here I was thinking I was happy getting my Yuki 1665 caseback installed! lol Ok.. I bought a sapphire GMT with Swiss ETA ihs a couple years ago. It's really a bad rep I never wear, but I was thinking since I want to build a 1675, I could use this movement? It runs great and keeps good time. My question is, will the Josh explorer case that many use...accept the Swiss ETA? If so I will order the Josh watch if someone will give me a link? I can also order the Yuki dial like yours Z, and the fast shipping TX WSO bezel. I have a gen plexi and gen 6mm crown/ tube for this already.. sooo.. I need a link to the exact Josh explorer and a link to the Yuki dial. This would be my wok stir fry donor This is a flattering pic... the rehaut is really way worse than it looks!
  15. Awesome builds!
  16. Wow! Beautiful watch! Enormous too!
  17. #1. Leave paypal out of this. We do not want undo attention drawn to our hobby. #2. If your not getting anywhere with the seller, contact the mods here on the board. Always contact the mods when you have this type of problem... before you make the problem public. Having said that, you bought your watch from a member with 22 posts. We have a saying in the watch hobby "buy the seller, not the watch" Contact a moderator here at rwg and explain your situation. Hope it works out for you. Welcome to rwg
  18. updated 1665 w correct caseback
  19. I know...it's not really that big a deal, but I feel a ton of relief lol Funny hobby we have....I think I'll tackle the bracelet next.
  20. I bought a Yuki 1665 caseback for my great white awhile back from a good member here. The MBW caseback was for the red SeaDweller and the new Yuki is the correct one. It only took 3-4 days to make it from the UK to NYC, but it's been sitting there since the 13th I emailed them yesterday and it showed up today Its a small upgrade, but having the wrong caseback bothered me. It's funny how the longer your into the rep hobby.. the little details bother you more and more. I'm sure you senior members know this all too well. The Yuki threads smoother than the original does. Anyway just a few quick pics:
