I enjoy telling a friend when I show my vintage Seamaster 300...that the case came from the Phillipines, the movement from Israel, the dial and hands from England, the bracelet from Chicago and put together by a watchmaker in Arizona
The point is it has an interesting story!
Frank, what was wrong with other hands? What's better on these?
I think I'll end up with a Swiss eta in my Tudor eventually and will use eta hands of course.
Put a new watchmaterial pearl in my SSD today only to discover it has a gold surround..grrrrrr
Even though my pics are way low level compared to you guys..you gotta admit they are getting better since I got my iphone 4s
Yep...it's gone.. disappeared.
I wonder if we will ever find out the truth and what happened.
Noticed the insert holes being big when I first looked at this.
Well congratulations on your new adventure!
I've waited too long for my body to be able to do something like this.
My hats off to you and your an inspiration for all of us.
Sorry I can't contribute to your gear as I haven't done anything like this in 20 yrs.
I hope you are able to take lots of pictures for us! Most of all...be safe!
Yeah..Photobucket is a great app for your phone and does make it easy to post great pictures....
Now if I could just learn how to take good pictures...lol!!!
You know, Mr slimeball sells many different endlinks that take 2mm springbars. If modding a bracelet for 2mm bars... the centerlink is the easy part to open up, making it very easy to get just about any bracelet to use gen size springbars. Slimeball's "jumbo" endlinks are alot cheaper than 50$
