  1. Yeah compared to a v72 build they're small and offset.
  2. Here are a set of reference photos for a 1665 Sea dweller from different angles. Hope they're useful? http://www.nanuq-alaska.net/images/watches/1665/ref/1665.htm
  3. These are "okay" bands but do feel and look very cheap straight out of the box. I give mine LOTS of short term abuse with Flitz metal polish in between all the links, and use sand paper and 3M scrubby pads to remove all the sharp edges. This makes them feel much smoother and "aged" in the hand. Then it's simple to reapply a brushed look if that's what you're after. All my old pieces are well polished from decades of rubbing against shirt sleeves etc., so I leave the band pretty shiny so it matches the overall appearance of the lugs.
  4. Give ya twice what you paid for it....
  5. The newer members here owe it to themselves to go back and read the story of how Ubi built these. Awesome stuff!
  6. No, but I kinda like the music.
  7. This is a good comparison piece for those trying not to take their aging efforts too far.
  8. I wonder if this is like Schroedinger's Thread? Is it in a state of life/death at the same time? Does our consciousness determine its reality? If we're not here typing in it, is it still "alive"?
  9. Word on the street is that Miss Piggy did not take this well.............. First came the horrible news of the loss of her Kermie Then the realization the fun was over Followed by utter devastation Which quickly turned to anger Followed by violence Which landed her in the slammer Then Doctor Teeth busted her out of jail And she headed west To start a new career in show business
  10. Can we go twice? Translated: exactly how many standard deviations are you willing to risk!
  11. Isn't that a long hours hand set?
  12. Fanatic, take a look here: http://www.rwgforum.net/index.php?/topic/164047-my-5513%2C-1665-DRSD-thin-case%2C-1665-DRSD-%26-preview-of-my-next-franken-project-%3A%29
