  1. Still waiting on my first rep (24 days and counting), I'm going with this until it shows. . .
  2. Close, but not quite. I prefer the PSP2 in the Partagas line.
  3. I think its been asked before, why couldn't a fugazi receipt be put in the box with proper letterhead / logos and call it warranty repair return? You know, I bought my watch from a boutique while in China and it stopped working. I sent it back to them and this is the "fixed product".
  4. I'm sure it is, just stating due to the way EMS works - at this point it is impossible to tell. Although I like it here and I spend more time reading this forum than any other rep related site (now that I've found it), it isn't the only game in town. I've been reading up on this for quite some time. Looking at reps for YEARS and just decided to pull the trigger on one to see how it goes. Not blaming the dealer at all, I don't see where I did that and if it was implied - it was done so mistakenly. Although shipping has been longer than I would have liked, the communication and reputation of this particular dealer have been second to none. Quick and trite answers, but I imagine he/she gets litterally hundreds of questions a day just like mine and I know detailed answers are not always possible. I've been a member of MANY forums, some that I'm actually quite active on and I know how this could possibly look. My apologies for 'stirring the pot' as it was not my intention. I searched and searched about delivery and EMS and it seemed to me that this might be on the longer end of what I should expect. I'll sit idle and wait for the "bloody thing to turn up". Regards, WD
  5. I know the tracking number I was provided shows a package in NYC, who knows where the final destination is. Not that I don't trust the dealer - but that doesn't really mean jack. Ya know? EDIT - Thank you all for trying to put my mind at ease and responses, I'm sure it will come eventually. It just sucks to have to try and be home when the mail gets here to sign for it (you do have to sign for EMS, right?).
  6. At what point do you worry? I know, I know - pick a good dealer and you'll be fine. Well I picked one of the best (supposedly). When I ask questions, I get quick & trite responses - "It will show". Well others get theirs in 4 days, 5 days, 10 days. I'm at 24 and counting. I don't want to [censored] off my chosen dealer as I'm new to this and learning, but over 3 weeks seems a bit long to me. At what point do you worry? Once it hits our shores, how does USPS handle? Is it all ground, via Priority Mail? Why would it take OVER A WEEK from NYC? Any help or info is greatly appreciated. -WD
  7. Can you tell us anything more about it?
  8. Nice, I hope to own one some day.
  9. I fear my watch might have suffered the same fate, ANOTHER day without. . .
  10. Now you got me sceeerd. I've just made my first purchase and it is taking FOREVER! That and I've had boxes of contraband cigars (Habanos) confiscated by my friends at customs. God I hope I'm not gonna suffer the safe fate. I feel for ya...
  11. Uh... what about some pictures?
  12. I'm pumped about this. I was close to pulling the trigger on a 111, 000, or 005. This cemented my decision. Giddy up!
  13. I'm not complainin'. Althought not my cup of tea, they are still beautiful pieces. Thanks! W.D.
  14. The GMT II because I don't know if my frickin' 183 will ever show. . . Getting disgusted!
  15. Beautiful y'all! Thanks (although it is not making my decision easier!). -WD
  16. C'mon - show 'em off. My 183 needs a brother and I don't know what to get. I'm leaning towards the 111, but the dial is so close to the 183 - it could be a mistake. Help a brutha out! Let me see whatchu got! I WANT PICTURES!!!
  17. Howdy y'all! New guy to your forums! I'm a watch freak, yet currently have ZERO replicas. I'm looking to expand my collection and pick up one or two to see how they actually stack up to the real deal. I've already learned a ton from reading through RWG & TRC and I found y'all through a memeber at RWG. About me: 31 years old, married with one amazing little boy. Besides watches I love cigars, reading, cooking, wine, beer, bourbon, coffee, golf and long moonlit walks on the beach. My current line up of watches is: Rolex GMT II (30th birthday/birth of son present, daily wearer) Bostok Russian Dive Watch (I never wear it) Momentum Dive Watch (my 'beater', I wear it when I do the lawn and wash my car) I've recently ordered a PAM 183 from Josh and can't wait for it to come in. I think this could be a sickness. . . Take care!
