  1. Harsh? Not a bit. Blunt? Yes, who know if details were provided the tone might soften but as I'm part of the rep community im going to share my opinion and also I feel that guys need to change their expectations a bit. Second, he got a TD to grant him PayPal privileges. Don't think he's really a newbie, maybe new here but generally the TDs only give PayPal privileges to an established member in good standing...
  2. Without details you aren't going to get good advice. About everyone without details will tell you not to cancel payment if for a rep, you'll hardly find someone to be sympathetic to your cause. Basically I'm going to say, suck it up, you are taking part of a transaction dealing with illegal goods who the heck do you think you are to demand amazon.com like customer service anyway?
  3. One of the many Chinese cheapies lumped under the term, "21j"
  4. Looking good, but maybe for safety reasons you should have someone else help you with the manual labor for a while...
  5. I don't use tapatalk, rwg has a really nice mobile skin that I use for free. If I want to post pics from my phone I do have to switch to the full Web version but other than that I prefer the mobile interface and find myself at odds when I'm reading the forum on a desktop.
  6. I'm guessing that he got an empty box since there has been no unveiling
  7. TC's bracelet is for the 16600 not the 116600.
  8. Yes, however even after sanding the SEL it doesn't sit recessed as the gen.
  9. Nice breakdown, good thing about TC getting new versions is that members are selling off their parts. The one comment I have is the SEL fit, it is tricky with the TW case which is why I sold my TW and ended up with a TC. Other than that great build for the cost!
  10. Tough break on that P153, can't help on rep parts if a dealer won't help other than to suggest the m2m section. Maybe somebody will have one posted with a crapped out movement for cheap... If you're going to remove AR coating from sapphire I'd recommend using 400-800 grit sandpaper over anything else. I've used it before and with little effort I have gotten really good results.
  11. I bought my SD4000 from BK and its bracelet came in much better condition, although not the typical Noob quality that we've seen in the past. Check your dealer as they might be able to sell you a second bracelet, between the two you should be able to piece together a nice bracelet.
  12. For me I'd say Oakleys. I've had my pair of Oakleys longer than I've been with my wife, a fact that was not lost on her when she obsconded with them shortly after we married....
  13. Did you find the crown jewels? :partytime:
  14. Thanks for looking at the clasp for me MOAB! I've heard that the ML leather strap is water resistant, mine is coming on the bracelet but I do have some nice leather natos and straps that I can try it out on. Of course when it gets here pics or it didn't happen!
  15. MOAB - I see that you got yours about a year ago, do you still have it? How is the clasp? The few pics that I've seen make it out to be a pretty standard fold over with safety catch however some of the reviews make it out to be a deployment clasp. Mine won't be here until next week, free ground shipping is free yet slow... I'm loving the look of the date wheel font...
  16. That's interesting look, and the jubilee is a comfy bracelet. If I were to do it, I think that I'd consider brushing the center polished links.
  17. Ha, I thought you might say that! There is not telling what watch you can pull out of your watch closet! I've never had a watch with an internal bezel, don't care for the style of most of them but saw this one and at such a good price I couldn't resist! It looks so clean and without a bunch of clutter on the tranaiation from the dial and the bezel. That and who can resist the date at 6?
  18. I was browsing Amazon earlier and saw this Maurice Lacroix Pontos S Diver at a good price, couldn't pass it up. I feel like MOAB, As a good service, here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DF2AH08/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1432258678&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SY200_QL40&keywords=Maurice+Lacroix+Pontos+S+Diver&dpPl=1&dpID=51EXt9HjEFL&ref=plSrch Pics off the web:
