  1. The bezel is off a PT 6542. Has a funny setup. It basically snaps over the retaining ring, but get this, there is an oring that goes between the case and the bezel for "friction" I cannot complaint though, it was free and looks the parts after the aging and some gold schpackle paint and rough sanding. Definitely not the old school paperclip setup I will shoot you the measurements when I get home. E
  2. Ubi, true inspiration and the photo setup you have is just legendary. One day I hope to get close to that for sure. E
  3. This one was a favorite of mine until I sold it. Franken because of its construction. More of a 16800 hybrid really. Gen crown and tube Gen insert/pearl TC bracelet, Dial and hands as well as the V2 DWO Gen 2836-2 ST3035 case and bezel, with gen spring bars, etc... Now, this 16610 is a true franken in every way Gen dial Gen SL hands Gen dimpled crown and gen tube Gen insert and SL pearl Now gen no LEC crystal Gen spring bars Y3135 serviced movement Gen 93150 clasp with very, very accurate flat 3 93150 bracelet(still searching for the elusive 501B end links) I modified a pair of WSO 501 end links. Took a few hours to get them to look and fit right. Still, POS and the customer service sucks. But it is what I have for now ST 3135 case and bezel assembly. The case has been softened since the pic was taken and repolished after a nice salt water dive sessions to give it that worn everyday look. Of the two, the 16800 felt better, but such is life. E
  4. Keep watching Nanuq, keep watching. been working on some watches this weekend and finally have a decent work area after moving and everything else that is going on. Duke's watch is coming along beautifully(His Franken 16660) working on a few Sapphire subs and will be posting pictures in a few days(had to setup a small light box for better pictures) and Got a tool grinder gor those CG deletes I plan this summer. Thanks to a fellow member I am using a 6541 bezel assembly for the BC Tudor( I know it is not the optimal choice, but for now it has to work due to my budget) and the dial is looking sweet. I am also aging a 6154 case for a Rolerai build. For my birthdate this year I want to finish the BC. We shall see if I can spring the dough for the jewelry and watch option and the 7206 bracelet you helped me with. BC Tudor build: Modified slim MBW 5513 case(I know I know) this one had a butchered stem tube hole and bastardized CG Chi Tudor 7928 dial(but waiting on a HR 100m gilt dial to compare) Probably NDT originally Athaya 8mm crown and tube Gen tudor serviced manual wind movement Gen Tudor gilt hands aged to next millenium Genish 7206 bracelet with now gen clasp modified gen T19 crystal(still looking for a decent T16) Update here as there's no search function yet and no favorite/recent content
  5. I may just have to get one of these for the bezel.

  7. More pictures please
  8. I am liking these more and more. I may build one with a sterile dial and SL and AR top and bottom. Wear it in good health. E
  9. Rounded 3 will work for some nice 16660 builds or 16800s
  10. G-Shock just to spice it up
  11. I need to start this project quickly. Thanks :]

  13. This will help me with work. Thanks for sharing
  14. I'm partial to running three miles with a sauna suit on twice a week no matter how hot or cold out. I did get brain freeze once from running in the cold and breathing too quickly :0 lol All jokes aside, colder air feels better to jog in. Period. Easier to breathe if you asked me. If you feel you are developing fluids in your lungs or sinuses, Find out why and wear a face mask if that helps. We are nomadic creatures and walking and running keep us going strong.
  15. I am down for a serviced MM v23
  16. I would love to add a smaller one as well
  17. Still wearing my flat s Sub
  18. Totally a fantasy model. The sky's the limit for sure.
  19. One of my favorite watches for sure! Wow! Thanks for sharing RA! Both dials are pretty decent(pre comex candidate on the feet first?) but the gilt just takes up, way up. E
