  1. You can always have someone like PBDad or Zig relume it to match. E
  2. CT, if ever you want to trade pearls, I have a brand we one from my 666 project that I would love to trade for an oxidized one. I'm going for the dirty, used and abused 666, not the trailer queen type. E
  3. Looking really good JL. Did you just shave the bottom of the crown? E
  4. I got back to this topic as I have a Hodge potch of parts for the watch. How good is the TC 1610 dial really? I have to pick up my 16800 gen dial and 16800 gen "abused" insert later today, but after re-reading this, I may save it for the ST case to build a proper 16800, and use the BK case with TC dial combo and TC bracelet for a 16610 with lugholes, etc.. I have a v3 bracelet on the way and also have a pretty decent Asian 93150 with aftermarket 501b end links. This will be a daily wearer, mostly work, but I want it to look decent and of course behave well. So, to recap previous possiblities offered for a decent 16610: A TC build with the TC 93250, dial (Swiss made)and hands and a drilled through case would be OK? Same combination with the 93150 and 501b end links? Thanks sharing the knowledge guys. E
  5. I don't think the movement will fit. You need to exchange that complete hunk of metal for the 2836 I will be using for mine. You will be glad. It even has the 3135 faux treatment. I love the oxidation on the pearl you got there CT. E
  6. Fudge! I got my stuff from Gary and everything seems good. Just now I have no case as the lovely post office lost my BK case on its way to JMB for the lug work. If anyone has a case they are willing to let go of that won't cost much, please let me know. E

    Very nice dial! E
  8. M, Thank God you're around the forums! LOL Your posts are definitely priceless! Love that photo. If only I can get the post office to get things right, I may just get my parts before my birthday. Thanks for sharing man and keep them coming. E

    That looks really good. E
  10. Looks great! Shame my case got turned back around. I was hoping to get it done before my birthday.
  11. 6atm is not bad at all. Thanks for sharing. E
  12. Bring it M! My mother is a Latin Caribbean woman. I can handle guilt. I cannot wait to finish this project, which has turned out to be easier in build and cost than the SSD for sure.
  13. The black screw is the key there. The TC spring bar for the clasp fits very well against the gen extension, however, no dimples. E
  14. Let me rephrase, the gen springbar that I sourced separately from the TC bracelet (I purchased a gen diver extension with plans to build a nice "franken" SSD almost ten months ago) and upon receiving my bracelet and 16610 dial and hands(separate project) I decided to mount it all up. I will post pictures and such on a separate thread. The clasp just needs to be drilled/opened up for the nipple to pop through. So if using a gen springbar for a seadweller clasp, make sure to do this for a better fit and easier installation(was a female dog to installed without this) E
  15. Woof, You that man! Thanks brother. BTW, to install the gen clasp spring bar, the adjustment holes need to be expanded just so in order for the dimpled "nipple" to show through correctly. Other than that AWESOME bracelet. E
  16. I hate to thread crap, but wasn't there a post with an issue of the 16600 dial not fitting the SSD v2 case? I'm considering buying this dial for a quick fix, but cannot find the post for the life of me. I have tried ALL forums. E
  17. One question, have you taken it diving yet? E
  18. If anyone has a mid case for a 1655 that they care to get rid of, please let me know.
  19. I'd definitely love to build a nice 14060 using his case as a base. E Btw, the fit of the 93160a is excellent!
  20. DAMN! All I can say is BOOM, there it is. E
  21. Speaking of bracelets, the TC 93160a is awesome! Super tight tolerances and the Gen diver's extension fit like a glove. @M, Will you be getting your sub wet? I wonder how water resistant these things are. E
  22. 5512 in Zulu Pvd. E
  23. I'm in NY. I have just finished a 6263 project (well, three weeks ago) The case needs to be heater in the area where the crown is located(remove the o-rings before doing this please) and used the right tool to remove the tube. However, if the tube is not Gen, then you can simply install a new aftermarket tube in the new case. What plans do you have for the old 6241 case? E
